Before summer ends and the days get shorter, there are still plenty of things going on in the city that you should know about or visit.
September is still an excellent month to enjoy a well-deserved vacation. The sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters, the river beaches or even the fun that an ocean pool or water park can offer, are all valid options in this month that brings another summer season to a close.

One of our favorite Lisbon brunches continues this month , the Marriott Pool Brunch, which this year brings a number of new features .

Guided tour of the Amália Rodrigues House-Museum
You’ll only get to know Amália Rodrigues better if you know how she lived. And on this visit to her House-Museum, you’ll find out everything.
Opening her home to the public was one of Amália Rodrigues’ greatest desires, a goal that was realized on July 23, 2001, when it was transformed into a House-Museum to share her most personal and intimate side with all her fans and onlookers.

A real Jurassic Park
Lourinhã’s Dino Park is one of the largest outdoor themed attractions in Europe, with almost 200 full-scale models of dinosaur species.

Street Parties in Lisbon
Festas na Rua is due to return to the city, offering everyone open-air shows until the beginning of October, from concerts, dances and arts of all kinds, from magic to cinema.
Lisbon often turns some of its gardens and squares into authentic stages for musical performances and magic and dance performances, among many other activities for the whole family.
Aerial acrobatics in Lisbon
The AirOtic Soirée show is already “flying” over Lisbon in a unique immersive circus experience under the theme of burlesque cabaret.
This is one of those shows that – we’re sure – will stay in your memory forever. A lot of this is down to the artists’ performances, which are sure to leave anyone awestruck and very excited.
