Starting today, you can secure your spot at the immersive exhibition “ ” “Smithsonian Journey Through the Cosmos,” which will allow you to physically walk among solar storms and exoplanets. This is Fever’s latest venture in Lisbon, which leaves the two-dimensional images found in astrophysics books and static projections firmly in the past.
Developed in partnership with the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory (SAO), the exhibition transports visitors to a scale beyond Earth, using real data captured by humanity’s most powerful observational instruments. The project integrates direct data from the Hubble Space Telescope, the James Webb Space Telescope, and the Chandra X-ray Observatory, with direct contributions from NASA and ESA.
Thus, rather than a simple passive observation, the space has been designed to allow visitors to physically walk through the universe, in an environment that recreates with scientific precision phenomena such as supernovae, exoplanets, and the visual impact of solar storms.
It is also worth noting that this exhibition was recently selected for the Venice Immersive competition at the 2026 Venice International Film Festival.
