Who doesn’t like water parks! Since the closure of Aquaparque in Restelo and Onda Parque in Caparica, Lisbon has never had its own summer amusement park where locals and visitors can enjoy the summer with dives, slides and lots of fun.
In fact, Lisbon has plenty of places where you can take a dip these summer days, like these swimming pools or these saltwater tanks, but when it comes to real fun, with slides and ramps to race your butt, there’s nothing in town.
So, if there’s none of that around, grab your GPS and head for one of these water parks, which are all within an hour or so of Lisbon, except for one, which is a little further away, but which many Lisboners can visit this summer.
