Built from the ruins of an old 19th century foundry, in a historic building for the city of Lisbon, Mirari is a unique space that combines a number of creative but also very tasty aspects.
As well as being a place where much of Lisbon’s cultural scene flows, Mirari also serves good food to feed the most restless minds in the capital, as well as all the families who flock to this distinctive spot from Friday to Sunday.
A world of experiences
Lisbon already has some multicultural spaces that we’re proud of, with Lx Factory and the more recent 8 Marvila being some of the ones we frequent the most.
“Designed” to create and offer experiences for everyone, which connect people and promote local creativity, Mirari is yet another venue promoting a diverse program, attracting diverse audiences to its craft markets, fashion and even workshops and other family activities.
Celebrating creativity in community
Much smaller than its “brothers” in concept, Lx Factory and 8 Marvila, Mirari has stood out since June 2023 for its innovative approach to various artistic fields, and the musical one has brought many visitors to the 24th of July, especially during the warmer months.
On the grayer days, however, it maintains its commitment to small fashion and handicraft markets, as well as remaining a very interesting place to sample some gastronomic treats. For example, it was there that the first Stack Smash Burgers opened .
There are also pizzas from La Matta and poke bowls from Aloha.
The small but comfortable venue offers that feeling of being in a unique place full of history, thanks to the still rustic state of its walls, some in ruins, old and already full of vegetation, which gives them that look that makes any atmosphere more relaxed and welcoming, without ever losing its authenticity.
Mirari includes various areas, from terraces with comfortable sofas to beach chairs, making it one of the best and most attractive urban relaxation spaces you can visit, even for socializing with other like-minded people.
Inside you’ll also find an art gallery, murals signed by well-known artists and even an in-house radio station that plays exclusive playlists and podcasts, thus reinforcing its commitment to culture.
Mirari is also pet-friendly, which means you can bring your furry friend to practically all the events that take place here, especially the family-friendly ones at weekends in Lisbon.
Mirari is all this and more, because it’s a place that’s constantly changing, with its artistic spaces being altered every so often.
