Osteria La Famiglia by Olivier

Where Real Pérola by Olivier used to be, you will now find Osteria La Famiglia, created by the same Chefpreneur, who did not yet have an Italian restaurant in his portfolio.
It embodies the concept of a traditional osteria, focused on comfort and, above all, sharing, in a space that combines family relaxation with a touch of sophistication, ideal for sampling masterfully executed Italian classics, from fresh pasta to generous antipasti, in a meal that truly honors the name “La Famiglia,” but also “amici.”

Bono Cucina

Led by Chef Robson Oliveira, Bono Cucina is a tribute to authentic Italy, focused on tradition and the soul of regional flavors, far from “theatrical Italianisms.”

Corleone Ristorante al Mare

A little further from the center of the capital, in Cascais, is one of the most beautiful Italian restaurants in Greater Lisbon, housed in a historic building with a unique view over the bay.
Inside, you will find exquisite Italian cuisine, focusing on the flavors of southern Italy and seafood, as well as fresh pasta, Cacio e Pepe, and Spaghetti alle Vongole . It is the perfect restaurant for a romanticdate.

Santa

One of our most recent experiences with contemporary Portuguese cuisine was at the Santa restaurant , located next to Lisbon Cathedral (we’ll tell you more about our experience there soon), and one of the dishes we tried was the pasta dish Aqui o Papa é Tuga (€26).
It is a visually appealing dish where you will find a skewer of tiger prawns with a Francesinha sauce made from shellfish and tempura greens (a kind of Peixinhos da Horta) on a bed of tagliatelle in cuttlefish ink sauce. There are few Italian dishes where the pasta can rival the other elements. This is one of them!
Address: Rua São João da Praça (Sé)
Opening hours: every day from 10 a.m. to midnight
Reservations and menu: on Instagram
La Mafia se sienta a la mesa

With two locations in Lisbon, one in Parque das Nações and the other in the Saldanha area , La Mafia se sienta a la mesa specializes in delicious pasta dishes.
Our highlight is the fresh homemade pasta, prepared according to traditional Italian recipes, and this Rigatone de Ovo, with pomodoro rosso sauce and fresh burrata (€18.80).
Address: Rua do Bojador 107 (Parque das Nações); Avenida Duque de Ávila 66B (Saldanha)
Opening hours: every day from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
Reservations and menu: on the website
La Trattoria

We love a good Italian restaurant, and La Trattoria is one of our favorites! This is largely due to the fact that it was the first Italian restaurant to serve in Lisbon.
In other words,it has known what Lisboners like for many years!
Address: Rua da Artilharia 1 79 (Marquês de Pombal)
Opening hours: every day
Reservations and menu: on the website
Mano a Mano

Enough with pizza! Although you can also find this specialty at the Mano a Mano restaurant, we suggest one of the most contemporary dishes in Italian cuisine, accompanied by a good glass of Italian or Portuguese wine—the drink is up to you.
At Mano a Mano, you will find a cozy space and a relaxed atmosphere, in true Italian style. The invitation has been made, all that’s left is for you to come and enjoy the experience.
Address: Rua do Alecrim 22 (Cais do Sodré)
Opening hours: Sunday to Thursday, from 12:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.; Fridays and Saturdays, from 12:30 p.m. to midnight
Reservations and menu: on the website
Valdo Gatti

The organic, handmade pizzas are delicious, some of the best we’ve ever tasted, but today our recommendation is the Lasagna Bolognese, generously filled and with a sauce that is to die for.
At Valdo Gatti, the entire menu stands out for its quality, and the restaurant also focuses on sustainability, both in terms of ingredients and manufacturing processes. Without a doubt, one of our favorite Italian restaurants in Lisbon.
Address: Rua do Grémio Lusitano 13 (Bairro Alto); Rua Cândido dos Reis 5 (Cacilhas)
Opening hours: every day
Reservations and menu: on the website
Santa Lúcia

The Santa Lúcia pizzeria is proud of its wood-fired oven, which gives its pizzas that rustic touch we all love.
Among the various Italian dishes you can try at Santa Lúcia, such as bruschettas, focaccias, carpaccios, risottos, and all kinds of pastas, it is the pizzas that make this Italian restaurant stand out, with a complete menu of over 40 delicious pizzas.
Address: Avenida Defensores de Chaves 62C (Campo Pequeno)
Opening hours: every day
Reservations and menu: on the website
Mercantina Alvalade

Mercantina, located in the Alvalade neighborhood , is certified by the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana, considered the Michelin star of pizzas, which defines it as one of the best Italian restaurants in Lisbon.
Entirely prepared in the restaurant’s fresh pasta laboratory in the Alvalade neighborhood, one of our suggestions is this colorful (four colors) Ravioli Caramelle, with ricotta, ham with garden pesto, and cherry tomatoes, revealing itself to be an original and unique pasta dish, where flavor is as important as appearance.
Address: Praça Alvalade 6B (Alvalade)
Opening hours: every day
Reservations and menu: on the website
Focacceria BM

We were missing a place dedicated tofocaccia, like Focacceria BM in Lisbon. The city didn’t yet have anywhere that focused exclusively on these famous Italian sandwiches.
It didn’t, but now it does, and it would be a sin not to stop by and try them.
Address: Rua Dom Lourenço de Almeida 3A (Belém)
Hours: Tuesday to Sunday, from noon to 10 p.m.
Reservations and menu: on the website
Nannarela

This isn’t a pizza restaurant, but it’s where you can find our favorite dessert, delicious homemade ice cream that only Italians know how to make.
At Lisboa Secreta, we love this ice cream shop so much that we’ve even made a declaration of love for it . Despite the queues, we are still in love with those genuinely Italian ice creams that arrived in the São Bento area thanks to Constanza Ventura from Rome.
Pistachio, Flor di Basilico, and Parmeggiano Reggiano with Rocha pear are some of the flavors we’ve tried and… approved! For those who prefer, there are also vegan options.
Address: Rua Nova da Piedade 64 (Rato)
Hours: every day from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Reservations and menu: on the website
