The Saloio Snail Festival in Loureswill take place from June 25 to July 12, and the next edition of the Snail Festival will return to Sintra at the end of July.

Saloio Snail Festival in Loures
LoureShopping’s Parque Verde will host the Saloio Snail Festival, focused on the preparation and tasting of this traditional dish.
The venue will feature additional street food options, stalls selling regional products, and exhibitors showcasing local crafts.
In addition to the food, the venue will feature a continuous program of live music (always at 9 p.m.) and hands-on activities designed for all age groups:

Snail Festival in Sintra
After visiting Loures, head over to the Nafarros Sports and Cultural Union Pavilion, where the 7th edition of the Sintra Snail Festival will take place once again, dedicated to lovers of this summer delicacy.
As always, here too you’ll be able to pair snails and baby snails with music, folklore, and crafts:

The largest snail festival in the municipality of Sintra is usually organized by the “Os Avós” Senior Citizens’ League, in partnership with the Nafarros Cultural and Sports Union.
