For anyone who is a fan of the Seventh Art, watching movies outdoors can be a truly unforgettable experience. And in Lisbon there’s no shortage of initiatives of this kind, including some screenings on the beach at Costa da Caparica. Another alternative is “Cinema Under The Stars”.
Promoted by the Hyatt Regency Lisboa, the initiative is scheduled for the evening of June 21, starting at 9pm, and stands out for its relaxed and sophisticated atmosphere, with the Tagus River and the 25 de Abril Bridge as a backdrop.
In a statement sent to Lisboa Secreta, the organization said that those who want to arrive early can do so from 8pm to enjoy a special selection of snacks: focaccias, cheese boards, custard tarts and, of course, popcorn.
The movie chosen for “Cinema Under The Stars” is “The Notebook – The Diary of Our Passion”, one of the most successful novels of recent years. Based on the best-seller by Nicholas Sparks, the film stars Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams.
