Lisbon is full of monuments and palaces. After all, it’s no coincidence that it was voted Best World Heritage City. With many attractions and a busy cultural agenda, there is one initiative that promises to please fans of literature and history in particular : a book market at the Fronteira Palace.
The initiative, entitled “Há Livros no Palácio”, takes place on December 7 and 8, with free admission. The event is promoted in collaboration between the Casas de Fronteira e Alorna Foundation and the online bookstore De A a Zola.
A total of five bookshops will be present. In addition to the aforementioned, Snob, Tigre de Papel, Livraria da Lapa and Leituria will be represented at the literary initiative. There, you’ll find various genres, such as poetry, fiction, biographies, essays and children’s books, among others.

To do this, all you need to do is buy a book, which will give you a 50% discount on the access ticket to the gardens on the same day (€3.50).
