Olivier da Costa was inspired by these occasions to create a relaxed concept, an ideal place for late lunches and late-night dinners, always with the statue of Neptune and the sparkle of the Tagus in the background.

Throw yourself into the river + Ponto Final
On the other side of the river, in Cacilhas, there are plenty of terraces with the Tagus always on the horizon, and it’s at the restaurants Atira-te ao Rio and O Ponto Final that you’ll find the most fantastic terraces , right “on top” of our river.

Darwin’s Café
Back on the north bank of the Tagus, the 56-seat terrace of Darwin’s Café is a refined and contemporary refuge in the Champalimaud Foundation, distinguished by its sophisticated and serene atmosphere.
Under the direction of Chef António Runa, the menus are perfect for a quiet lunch to the sound of the Tagus breeze, always in an atmosphere of casual elegance.

maat Café & Kitchen
Located in the emblematic MAAT museum and building designed by Amanda Levete, next to the old Central Tejo, maat Café & Kitchen is one of the most beautiful restaurants in Lisbon, combining bold architecture facing the Tagus.
At the top of the stairs, only lunch is served, but at nightfall it becomes a meeting point for those who enjoy an unbeatable view of the Tagus, accompanied by light snacks.

Vila Bica Gastrobar
Vila Bica is one of our favorite restaurants for cheap oysters of excellent quality, always fresh. Right next to the door of the emblematic Ascensor da Bica, this small space offers a terrace that receives the sun all year round.
The location is strategic, next to one of Lisbon’s most photographed elevators, and it also stands out for being an irresistible gastronomic proposal: among creative cocktails, a memorable Prego de Atum and oysters, considered a reference in the city.

Gunpowder
In the heart of Chiado, far from the clichés of Indian food, Gunpowder is committed to sharing authentic Indian flavors and unexpected experiences.
Its terrace, on Rua Azul, is perfect for late afternoons with happy hours of fresh oysters from the Ria Formosa and sparkling wine at affordable prices, creating a relaxed and sophisticated atmosphere.

ZeroZero Pizzeria
One of Lisbon’s largest pizzerias , ZeroZero, was born on the site of the legendary Espelho d’Água, a 1940 building designed for the Portuguese World Exhibition.
