Adamastor Kiosk
The Miradouro de Santa Catarina is better known as the Adamastor, a real meeting point in Lisbon.
And here you’ll also find a spectacular terrace, served by the viewpoint’s kiosk, where friends gather for drinks while listening to good music!
It’s also from here that you can see Lisbon’s port area, the beautiful 25 de Abril bridge and the imposing statue of Adamastor, a figure made famous by Luís Vaz de Camões in Os Lusíadas, and the dominant piece of this viewpoint, which was placed here in 1927.
Address: Rua de Santa Catarina

Ponto Final
On the south bank, in Cacilhas, there are also several terraces with the Tagus as a backdrop.
One of our favorites is Ponto Final, right on the river, which offers incredible views of Lisbon, from Belém to Parque das Nações, in a relaxed atmosphere so far from the hustle and bustle of the capital.
In addition to the views, it also serves great food, especially the dogfish soup, the grilled fish and the codfish pataniscas with bean rice.
Whether for a meal or simply a drink or coffee, this terrace promises to be unforgettable.
Address: Rua do Ginjal 65 (Almada)

Carmo Rooftop
This is the right place to end any stroll through Chiado, first and foremost because it offers incredible views of the city, with a stunning setting between the Carmo Ruins and the Santa Justa Elevator.
The freshest cocktails this summer are to be found at the Carmo Rooftop, in addition to the burger and pizza menus.
Address: Terraços do Carmo (Chiado)

Terraço Editorial
Terraço Editorial is a restaurant-bar located on the top floor of Pollux, in Rua dos Fanqueiros.
It comprises a wine library that invites you to have a glass or a snack while you take in the best views of Lisbon, with a special focus on the Santa Justa elevator, the Carmo Convent, the Tagus River and the Amoreiras hills, as well as other points of interest.
Address: Rua dos Fanqueiros 276, 8º piso (Baixa)

Madame Petisca
The Miradouro do Adamastor is already a Lisbon classic, but the big secret is to find a good seat to watch the best sunset in the city.
Look no further! Madame Petisca is on the third floor, in a beautiful building that was once, legends have it, a French perfumery.
Perfect for taking your better half, all groups of friends are welcome at Madame Petisca – after all, it’s no fun snacking alone.
Address: Rua de Santa Catarina 17 (next to Miradouro de Santa Catarina or Adamastor)

The Insólito Restaurant & Bar
We don’t go to The Insólito just for the view, but also for the food, the atmosphere and the decor.
It’s an unusual place, and it doesn’t present itself in a conventional way.
Address: Rua de São Pedro de Alcântara 83 (Príncipe Real)

Ribeira das Naus Kiosk
It needs no introduction, but we make a point of mentioning this terrace because its proximity to the river makes it one of the most desirable in the city.
In addition to the privileged views of the Tagus and the 25 de Abril Bridge, it has that unique atmosphere that always makes you feel like you’re on vacation.
As well as a generous drinks list, there are also plenty of snacks and appetizers to fill your stomach.
Address: Avenida Ribeira das Naus (Cais do Sodré)

Park
It’s one of the trendiest places, but also one of our favorites. With a décor based on wood and intense vegetation, when you’re at Park you almost feel like you’re in a sunny forest.
The view of the city from the terrace is very pleasant.
Address: Calçada do Combro 58 (Chiado)

Marisqueira Azul da Praça do Comércio
A few steps from the river and overlooking Jardim Dom Luís are the terraces of Marisqueira Azul.
The restaurant’s motto is to bring the best of local fishing, with fresh seafood from the Ribeira Market, to a privileged location in the city.
And to go with it, a cold beer.
Address: Avenida 24 de Julho 49, Loja 9 (Cais do Sodré)

Memmo Alfama Terrace
Terraces with a swimming pool next door? This is it! As well as an incredible view, the bar is stunning in itself.
It has a modern and clean design, which makes it one of our favorite places.
Address: Travessa das Merceeiras 27 (Alfama)

Lisbon Rio
For those very hot days, the best thing is to cool off with a good imperial and the breeze from our river.
This terrace is just three meters from the Tagus.
Address: Cais Gás 7-8 (Cais do Sodré)

Catch Me
Le Chat has changed its name to Catch Me, but it still has one of the best terraces in Lisbon. Catch Me combines a number of ingredients that make this space incredible and unique, like few others in the capital.
Starting with its location, in the Rua das Janelas Verdes area and right next to the Museu de Arte Antiga, which offers a spectacular view of the Tagus and the 25 de Abril bridge.
You’re welcome here at any time of the day: whether it’s for a panoramic meal, a coffee with friends, a late afternoon cocktail with the sunset as a backdrop or an evening drink that brings you closer to the stars.
Address: Jardim 9 de abril (Santos)

Water Line
For some, this may not be a novelty, but as good things never go out of fashion, we’ ll remind you or let you know about this unique terrace right next to Parque Eduardo VII.
Address: Rua Marquês da Fronteira (Parque Eduardo VII)

Café Janis
There are few but good tables on the terrace of Café Janis, a Parisian café, a “rendez-vous spot” in the heart of Cais do Sodré.
With French and Mediterranean snacks and original, appetizing cocktails.
Address: Rua da Moeda 1A (Cais do Sodré)

Lost In
Lost In is a sort of all-in-one: it’s a restaurant, a terrace and a bar-cum-viewpoint, which in our opinion fits perfectly with your search for a pleasant spot to spend some time with friends while having a drink or a snack, which at Lost In translates into fusion cuisine between the East and the Mediterranean.
Address: Rua Dom Pedro V 56D (Príncipe Real)

ZeroZero Pizzeria
Both in Príncipe Real and Parque das Nações you’ll find the wonderful, romantic terraces of ZeroZero Pizzeria… The best of Italy in the heart of Lisbon.
Address: Rua da Escola Politécnica 32 (Príncipe Real); Alameda dos Oceanos, lote 2.11.01H (Parque das Nações)

Café Esplanada do Miradouro do Monte Agudo
If we were you, we wouldn’t leave without trying the chicken pie.
Oh, and don’t forget to take a book with you to this place that invites you to read.
Address: Rua Heliodoro Salgado (Penha de França-Anjos)

Graça Terrace
This is one of the terraces with a kiosk that is among our favorites, not only because it is located in one of our favorite view points, but also because of the views it offers over the city of Lisbon.
Seriously, if you’ve never been there, take advantage of one of the upcoming hot days to enjoy a refreshing drink on this terrace facing the city.
Address: Miradouro da Graça (Graça)
