It’s very easy to get into the restaurant NOW, a beautiful and comfortable restaurant near Cais do Sodré. The hardest part is leaving, especially if you go at brunch time, which offers some of the freshest delicacies in town.
We tried the Avocado Toast with Cottage Cheese, Kimchi Salmon and Peaches (or other seasonal fruit) (13€); a Kimchi Salmon Salad with Cucumber and Poached Egg (15€); and Oatmeal Pancakes with Banana (9€), all served with intense flavors that left us spellbound.

Rio Grande, 100 years of intense flavors
The term brunch, or late breakfast, didn’t yet exist when this house started serving those passing through the current Rua Cor de Rosa, in Cais do Sodré, for over 100 years.
The space retains the same charm as before, but offers an extensive range of new and fresh delicacies, especially at weekends, which is when brunches take place at the Rio Grande between 9am and 2pm.
Address: Rua Nova do Carvalho 55 (Rua Cor de Rosa, Cais do Sodré)

Menina Bonita Station, Lisbon’s techiest brunch
With creative and traditional dishes, the brunch at Estação Menina Bonita is full of surprises!
Served by friendly robots, you can enjoy a whole futuristic experience between 9am and 2pm, while relaxing to the sound of a digital waterfall.
This brunch is available on weekends and holidays and features pancakes, toast, bowls and even açaí, among many other flavors that we invite you to try.

Thousand Flavors Brunch
We love going to downtown Lisbon and passing by the A Thousand Flavors, a restaurant with very friendly people on the corner of Rua da Prata and Rua da Vitória, where it’s great to relax on the terrace while savoring the incredible Mil Sabores Brunch, among other delicacies that you can add to this meal.
Inside, it’s also very comfortable, with several tables and a unique view of the kitchen, where everything that makes our day happier comes from, from American breakfasts, toasts of anything and everything, pancakes, crepes and waffles in a thousand and one flavors, as well as a handful of poke bowls, wraps and eggs your way.
At Mil Sabores, you just won’t leave on an empty stomach, because we’re sure you’ll love every crumb served by a very welcoming and friendly team.
If we can give you a tip to add to your brunch, try the açaí bowl with granola and fruit, the new mini hamburgers (Spicy, Chicken and Salmon), and never leave without enjoying the Nutella Waffle, which contains this delicious chocolate cream, banana, strawberries and a scoop of ice cream with a flavor of your choice. We opted for the pastel de nata and, nham nham, it was an incredible match.
Address: Rua da Prata 152 (Baixa)
Mila Lisboa, in the design district
Located in the design district of Santos, Mila turned out to be an incredible brunch experience, with staff who were always attentive to our needs, be they comfort or taste.
The owner, Mila’s husband, after whom this friendly place is named, told us that it all started as a simple street grocery store selling vegetables and fruit. Gradually, people began to ask to sit down and eat right there and, in no time, the shelves of green gave way to tables , an open kitchen and a counter, culminating in a beautifully decorated and comfortable space where you really feel like being.
Today, with a large terrace in the sun, it’s a must to stop by and try the incredible delicacies that complete the brunch: we tried the Courgette Pancakes (11€), the Eggs & Greens (10€) and the Salmon and Eggs (12€) for starters. To go with it, we tried the Purple Mint smoothie (5.5€) and a Black Iced Tea with Pineapple and Mint (3€). To finish off, we still managed to try the Cappuccino (2.8€), a Matcha tea (4€) and, of course, a dessert cake, the Banoffee Pie (4€). You can consult all the menu on the website by Mila Lisboa.
All in all, our experience was very pleasant and we’ll definitely be going there more often, not least because it has areas where we can work while enjoying these delicacies.

Brunch for everyone at Gosta do Castelo
O He likes the Castle, which is located in the historic center of Lisbon, about 300 meters from St. George’s Castle, is once again opening its doors to the public with the mission of serving the best and most delicious brunch in Lisbon, in a concept that promises to delight tourists and all those who love a good gastronomic experience.
You have the option of choosing from one of the four combined brunch menus, where you can find everything from delicious pancakes – the banana pancake is the house specialty, and it’s delicious – to tasty waffles with delicious toppings, and even toast that will make anyone’s mouth water.
The highlight also goes to the national products that come from all over the country, and the Overnight Oats Bowls made from fresh fruit and 100% healthy. For those with a more refined taste, the drink Aperol Spritz is one of the best accompaniments for all the products from this house.
Gosta do Castelo is open from Tuesday to Sunday between 8.30am and 5pm, with Happy Hour on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 4pm and 5pm.

Different” pancakes at Oui Mais Non
We’ll start by giving you this tip: order the Baby Dutch pancake, which is cooked in the oven on a cast iron at the time, in a process that may take 20 minutes, but which will really be worth it. In this pancake you can choose a topping and your favorite sauce.
Okay, now that we’ve talked about what was the highlight of our experience at Oui mais Non, it’s worth noting that this space is incredibly well decorated, very comfortable and with very pleasant personalized service.
It has a menu giant, full of good things to try, from which we highlight, in addition to the Baby Dutch (10€), the traditional American pancakes (7.5€) and the Sapporo Pancake (10€), which stands out for being in the form of a soufflé (it also takes 20 minutes to make).
We also tried the not-so-traditional Eggs Benedict (12€), which for us are one of the best in the whole city; as well as a colorful selection of macarons (1.85€ a piece) and Mini Éclairs (1.75€ a piece).
Finally, we were presented with the surprise of the house: the Oui Mais Non Volcano, a kind of cake/pudding that melts as soon as you open it. Without a doubt, this was the most Instagrammable moment of our experience at Oui Mais Non.
Address: Avenida da Liberdade 180, Loja 5A (inside Tivoli Fórum)
Sundays at the InterContinental
At the InterContinental hotel, brunches are served on Sundays, between 11.30am and 3pm, more than enough time to try some of the most delicious brunch dishes we’ve ever tasted, including the Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict; the Avocado and Poached Eggs Toast; or the Pumpkin Pancake, which is very tasty and soft, and proved to be our favorite part of the experience .
There was so much food that we couldn’t even eat the Prego no Bolo de Caco, even though it had been highly recommended to us. Fortunately, we’ll have to go back and try it out… hehehe!!!
Then there are the usual seasonal fruits, juices and smoothies, coffees, teas and infusions, as well as the obligatory mimosas, all served in a refined and classy atmosphere… for just 29€ per person.
Address: Rua Castilho 149 (Parque Eduardo VII)
JAC Brunch & Concept Store
From the title you’ve already realized that at JAC you’ll find, in addition to a highly recommended space for a brunch in the late morning, a small area where you can also do some shopping, from jewelry to clothes and other fashion accessories.
But let’s get down to business: at JAC, in Bairro Alto, on the way to Príncipe Real, we had one of the most delicious Eggs Benedict (€8.50) in town, accompanied by the creamiestsmoothies and vitamin-packed juices: we tried the Amazona, with Açaí, Banana, Red Fruits and Oats or Almond Milk (€4.8); and the Red Dream, with Red Fruits, Pineapple and Orange (€3.2).
In between, we were given the Salmon Toast, with two types of marinade and labneh sauce (10.9€), and we saved the surprise of this brunch for last: the Salt & Sour Pancakes, an incredible ricotta cheese pancake accompanied by bacon, caramel and popcorn (7.50€). They sound strange, don’t they? But you’ll love it!
Address: Rua da Rosa 240 (Bairro Alto/Prncipe Real)
2D Lisbon, Brunch & Bar
What stands out most about 2D Lisbon is your dining room, in an area entirely designed in black and white. It really feels like entering another dimension, where even the chairs and tables are dressed up to welcome you.
Among the many options you can use to make your own brunch, we were given a taste of Toast with Island Cheese and Banana, several options where eggs are the main highlight and, of course, delicious Pancakes with Alcobaça Apple Granola… simply fantastic.
We also discovered that outside, on a large terrace, every Thursday is gin day, between 6pm and 9pm. A visit was promised.

Amélia Café, beautiful to die for
At Amélia, almost everyone takes a picture of their plate before they sink their teeth into it. It’s one of the most Instagrammable cafés in Lisbon.

At Frutaria Café’s brunch there are mimosas
Frutaria Café is super cute, with colors and smells that even inspire us to eat better and healthier. The atmosphere is very pleasant, the service is super friendly and the quality of the food is unquestionable.
Frutaria Café offers two types of brunch: classic, with eggs and everything you’re entitled to; and vegan, for those who are lactose intolerant or don’t eat animal products. And both include mimosas.
Frutaria Café’s brunch is available from Tuesday to Sunday from 9am to 8pm.

Croissants, brioches and pains au chocolat, cold meats, tuna tataki, meat and shrimp tacos, cheeses and sausages, cakes by the slice, crepes, eggs, yogurt, fruit, bread and the traditional cornbread. We could be here until tomorrow, so it’s best to go and try it one of the next Sundays.
