Terrace, at Martinhal Lisbon Oriente
If you’re looking for a unique gastronomic and family experience, far from the city center and therefore very secluded, the brunch you can enjoy at the Terrace restaurant at the Martinhal Lisbon Oriente is simply fantastic… we loved it!
The atmosphere, very welcoming and perfect for letting the children play outdoors, thanks to the extensive lawn located next to the terrace, was one of the features we most appreciated, clearly designed for families as it even has a Kids Club with access to supervised entertainment.
After all, Sundays are meant to be spent with the family and it’s important that everyone has their own space after two or three mouthfuls (perhaps many more) of a menu that left our mouths watering from the very first moment.
In buffet mode, which is what we like best because it allows us to enjoy everything at our own pace, this brunch offers a mix of Asian and Mediterranean cuisine, with dishes such as Chicken Malai Tikka or Panner Jalfrezi available, as well as a variety of sushi and sashimi, or even the healthiest of vibrant salads, wraps, fresh seafood (oysters and prawns), fish and local meats.
The little ones, meanwhile, will delight in the Spaghetti Bolognese and the croquettes and codfish cakes.
Throughout the experience, there are also live music sessions: we were treated to some of the best Brazilian classics, which were a delight to listen to while tasting the various dishes.

AGORA, where you enter and don’t want to leave
It’s very easy to enter AGORA, a beautiful and comfortable restaurant near Cais do Sodré. The hard part is leaving, especially if you go at brunch time , which offers some of the freshest delicacies in town.
We tried the Avocado Toast with Cottage Cheese, Kimchi Salmon and Peaches (or other seasonal fruit) (13€); a Kimchi Salmon Salad with Cucumber and Poached Egg (15€); and Oatmeal Pancakes with Banana (9€), all served with intense flavors that left us spellbound.

Praça, a brunch outside the center
This is no ordinary brunch! Away from Lisbon’s city center, Praça’s hearty breakfast, located in Beato’s Creative Hub, stands out for offering food from small national producers.

Rio Grande, 100 years of intense flavors
The term brunch, or late breakfast, didn’t even exist when this place started serving those who passed through what is now Rua Cor de Rosa, in Cais do Sodré , over 100 years ago.
The space retains the same charm as before, but offers an extensive range of new and fresh delicacies, especially at weekends, which is when brunches take place at Rio Grande, between 9am and 2pm.

Brunch Mil Sabores
We love going to downtown Lisbon and stopping by Mil Sabores, a restaurant with very friendly people on the corner of Rua da Prata and Rua da Vitória, where it’s great to relax on the terrace while enjoying the incredible Mil Sabores Brunch, among other delicacies that you can add to this meal.
Inside, it’s also very comfortable, with several tables and a unique view of the kitchen, where everything that makes our day happier comes from, from American breakfasts, all kinds of toast, pancakes, crepes and waffles of a thousand and one flavors, as well as a handful of poke bowls, wraps and eggs your way.
At Mil Sabores you just won’t leave on an empty stomach, because we’re sure you’ll love every crumb served up by a very welcoming and friendly team.
If we can give you a tip to add to your brunch, try the açaí bowl with granola and fruit, the new mini hamburgers (Spicy, Chicken and Salmon), and never leave without indulging in the Nutella Waffle, which has this delicious chocolate cream, banana, strawberries and a scoop of ice cream with a flavor of your choice. We opted for the pastel de nata and, nham nham, it was an incredible match.
Address: Rua da Prata 152 (Baixa)
Mila Lisboa, in the design district
Located in the design district, in Santos, Mila turned out to be an incredible brunch experience, with staff always attentive to our needs, be they comfort or taste.
The owner, Mila’s husband, after whom this friendly place is named, told us that it all started as a simple street grocery store selling vegetables and fruit. Little by little, people started asking to sit down and eat right there and, in no time, the shelves of greens gave way to tables, an open kitchen and a counter, culminating in a beautifully decorated and comfortable space where you really want to be.
Today, with a large sun terrace, it’s a must to stop by and try the incredible delicacies that complete the brunch: we tried the Courgette Pancakes (€11), the Eggs & Greens (€10) and the Salmon and Eggs (€12) to start. To go with it, we tried the Purple Mint smoothie (5.5€) and a Black Iced Tea with Pineapple and Mint (3€). To finish, we were able to try the Cappuccino (2.8€), a Matcha tea (4€) and, of course, a dessert cake, the Banoffee Pie (4€). You can check out the entire menu on the Mila Lisboa website.
All in all, our experience was very pleasant and we’ll definitely be going there more often, not least because it has areas where we can work while enjoying these delicacies.
Address: Rua Santos-o-Velho 38 (Santos)
Lisbon Caffé, in Casal de Cambra
Lisbon Caffé is the place to go if you’re a true coffee and tealover, if you enjoy a truly delicious Italian Arthemia Milano hot chocolate, perfect for fall days, and of course, if you like to be greeted with a smile on your lips and feel like you’re at home.
Located in the center of Casal de Cambra, this friendly place specializes in chocolates; croissants filled with your favoritecreams, from sweets like Nutella, Kinder Bueno, Egg Candy and Pistachio to savory snacks like Brie Cheese, Ham or Salmon; pancakes; crepes, all available at Glovo; and it’s also here that you can order your next birthday cake, via Whatsapp 935 250 100.
As for what brings us here, brunches, at Lisbon Caffé you’ll find three delicious options:

Brunch for everyone at Gosta do Castelo
Gosta do Castelo, which is located in the historic center of Lisbon, about 300 meters from St. George’s Castle, is once again opening its doors to the public with the mission of serving the best and most delicious brunch in Lisbon, in a concept that promises to delight tourists and all those who love a good gastronomic experience.
You have the option of choosing from one of the four combined brunch menus, where you can find everything from delicious pancakes – the banana pancake is the house specialty, and it’s delicious – to tasty waffles with delicious toppings, and even toast that will make anyone’s mouth water.
The highlight also goes to the national products that come from all over the country, and the Overnight Oats Bowls made from fresh fruit and 100% healthy. For those with a more refined taste, the Aperol Spritz drink is one of the best accompaniments for all the products in this house.
Gosta do Castelo is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 8.30am to 5pm, with Happy Hour on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4pm to 5pm.

Different” pancakes at Oui Mais Non
We’ll start by giving you this tip: order the Baby Dutch pancake, which is cooked in the oven on a cast iron at the time, in a process that may take 20 minutes, but will be really worth it. On this pancake you can choose a topping and your favorite sauce.
Okay, now that we’ve talked about what was the highlight of our experience at Oui plus Non, it’s worth noting that this place is incredibly well decorated, very comfortable and with very pleasant personal service.
It has a huge menu, full of good things to try, from which we highlight, in addition to the Baby Dutch (10€), the traditional American pancakes (7.5€) and the Sapporo Pancake (10€), which stands out for being in the form of a soufflé (it also takes 20 minutes to make).
We also tried the not-so-traditional Eggs Benedict (€12), which we think are one of the best in the whole city; and a colorful selection of macarons (€1.85 a piece) and Mini Éclairs (€1.75 a piece).
Finally, we were presented with the surprise of the house: the Oui Mais Non Volcano, a kind of cake/pudding that melts as soon as you open it. Without a doubt, this was the most Instagrammable moment of our experience at Oui Mais Non.
Address: Avenida da Liberdade 180, Loja 5A (inside Tivoli Fórum)
Sundays at the InterContinental
At the InterContinental hotel, brunches are served on Sundays, between 11:30 a.m. and 3 p.m., more than enough time to try some of the most delicious delicacies we’ve ever tasted at brunch, namely the Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict; the Avocado and Poached Eggs Toast; or the Pancake with Pumpkin Cream, which is very tasty and soft, proving to be our favorite part of the experience.
There was so much food that we couldn’t even eat the Prego no Bolo de Caco, even though it had been highly recommended to us. Fortunately, we’ll have to go back and try it again… hehehe!!!
Then you’ll have the usual seasonal fruits, juices and smoothies, coffees, teas and infusions, as well as the obligatory mimosas, all served in a refined and classy atmosphere… for just 29€ per person.
Address: Rua Castilho 149 (Parque Eduardo VII)
JAC Brunch & Concept Store
The title already tells you that at JAC you’ll find, in addition to a highly recommended space for a late-morning brunch, a small area where you can also do some shopping, from jewelry to clothes and other fashion accessories.
But let’s get down to business: at JAC, in Bairro Alto, on the way to Príncipe Real, we had one of the most delicious Eggs Benedict (€8.50) in town, accompanied by the creamiestsmoothies and vitamin-packed juices: we tried the Amazona, with Açaí, Banana, Red Fruit and Oats or Almond Milk (€4.8); and the Red Dream, with Red Fruit, Pineapple and Orange (€3.2).
In between, we were given the Salmon Toast, with two types of marinade and labneh sauce (10.9€), and we saved the surprise of this brunch for last: the Salt & Sour Pancakes, an incredible ricotta cheese pancake accompanied by bacon, caramel and popcorn (7.50€). Sounds like strange flavors, doesn’t it? But you’ll love them!
