As summer approaches , the selection of outdoor movie screenings is becoming increasingly abundant in Lisbon. Following the announcement of Príncipe Real Terrace — a “hidden” spot with a prime view of São Jorge Castle— there’s another new addition: the Beato Riverside Rooftop ( located in the Beato Innovation District).
Organized by Cine Society, this rooftop terrace offers a breathtaking view of the Tagus River in one of the most creative neighborhoods of the Portuguese capital. In fact, the area is full of restaurants, coworking spaces , the Casa Capitão performance venue, and now, a spot for movie screenings.
Timeless classics and acclaimed titles
According to a press release sent to Lisboa Secreta, the first open-air movie screening at Beato Riverside Rooftop kicks off on June 20 at 9 p.m. with a showing of the film “Before Sunrise.”
This season’s lineup includes timeless classics and crowd-pleasers such as: “Sinners”; “Grease”; “10 Things I Hate About You”; “The Greatest Showman,” among many others.
In addition to the films, Cine City’s new venue features its own bar and dining options, ensuring that every outdoor movie screening is a complete experience.
