The saltwater pool…
The Arriba Guincho saltwater pool is located in the area of the same name, more precisely on Estrada do Guincho, just 40 minutes from downtown Lisbon.
The summer season is almost over, though it reopened its doors for a dip in the saltwater back in June, as well as its fantastic outdoor terrace, which stands out for being sheltered from Guincho’s usual, recurring gusts of wind.
… and the “perfect” getaway
We know that “perfect” is a very subjective term, but in the case of Arriba Guincho, it probably isn’t far from the truth.
The fact is, this saltwater pool—along with the spectacular terrace—makes this one of the most secluded spots in Lisbon and the surrounding area, perfect for anyone who wants to enjoy sunny summer days in total relaxation.
And if that weren’t enough, right in front of you lies the vast blue Atlantic Ocean, with scenery sure to provide you with a truly rewarding experience.

If you’re like us, you’ll also get hungry after two or three dips! With that in mind, this outdoor dining area serves light meals, including plenty of fresh salads and the famous, healthy bowls, as well as delicious open-faced sandwiches, savory snacks, and, of course, the ice cream from the Casa do Marquês brand, in addition to muffins and brownies.
As for drinks, the selection ranges from fresh juices to Portuguese wines by the glass, as well as mocktails and signature cocktails like the Blue Arriba or the Náufrago at Guincho.
