In an authentic refuge between the sea and the mountains, Arriba Guincho has one of our favorite ocean pools, surrounded by a natural solarium and – best of all – protected from the strong wind of the beach, which is right next door.
What’s more, you don’t even need to bring lunch or a snack: you’ll really want to take advantage of the spectacular terrace, which offers a menu dedicated to the hottest season of the year, with light, practical and refreshing options.
The saltwater pool…
Arriba Guincho’s saltwater pool is located in the area of the same name, more precisely on Estrada do Guincho, just 40 minutes from the center of Lisbon.
The summer season is almost over, and it reopened its doors to salty dives in June, as well as to the fantastic terrace, which is sheltered from Guincho’s usual and recurring windstorms.
… and the “perfect” refuge
We know that perfect is a very subjective definition, but in the case of Arriba Guincho it may not be too far from the truth.
The saltwater pool and the spectacular terrace make this one of the most secluded spots in Lisbon and the surrounding area, perfect for those who want to enjoy the sunny summer days in complete relaxation.
And if that wasn’t enough, there’s also the immense blue Atlantic Ocean in front of you, landscapes capable of providing you with a very rewarding experience.
Relaxing… and snacking!
If you’re like us, you get hungry after two or three dives! And with that in mind, this terrace serves light meals, including fresh salads and the famous healthy bowls, delicious toasts, savory snacks and, of course, handmade ice creams from the Casa do Marquês brand, as well as muffins and brownies.
The drinks range from natural juices to national wines by the glass, including mocktails and signature cocktails such as the Blue Arriba or the Náufrago at Guincho.
