Spring is already announcing itself with longer days and the blooming of countless flowers in Lisbon’s gardens. So it’s time to celebrate the most beautiful season of the year, but also one of the favorite flowers of many Portuguese people at the Orchid and Other Spring Plants Exhibition.
Between April 10 and 12, the initiative promises to transform Parque das Palhotas, in Lisbon Zoo, into a veritable ‘pilgrimage’ for many collectors and plant enthusiasts from all over the country.
What will you find?
Organized by the Portuguese Orchid Lovers Club, a non-profit association, the event will feature many national and international sellers, as well as other parallel activities.
Plant and botanical art exhibitions, lectures, and practical cultivationworkshops are some of the attractions that will be included in the program. In addition, you can add a touch of color to your home with orchids, succulents, cacti, and bromeliads that will be on sale.

Admission to the Orchid and Other Spring Plants Exhibition costs €3.50 for those over 16, with the option of purchasing a general admission ticket for €5.
