
The Christmas season is here and there are more and more amusements on offer in the city of Lisbon and, when it comes to ice rinks in and around Lisbon, it’s a delight!
We’ve already shown you some of the various Christmas markets that are returning to the streets and squares of Greater Lisbon this year.
What was missing? Ice rinks, of course! For now, there are a few options in and around the capital: the Wonderland ice rink in Parque Eduardo VII; the ice rink in the UBBO shopping center; the Cascais Christmas Village; and, further out of town, the Vila Natal ice rink in Óbidos and the Alenquer ice rink , which is covered.
Shall we get to know them a little better?

At Oeiras Parque
Until January 5, Oeiras Parque will be taking the magic of Christmas to a new level with a new experience in the mall: a 140m2 ice rink, which will guarantee hours of entertainment, laughter and memories for those who venture out to skate.
It will also have ambient music and seasonal decorations, and will be available for adults and children at the main entrance, next to the Satu terminal.

Opening hours: until December 15, on weekdays from 2pm to 9pm; weekends from 10am to 9pm; from December 16 to January 5, every day* from 10am to 9pm (*except on December 24 and 31, when it will close at 3pm, and on December 25 and January 1, when it will be closed).

UBBO Christmas Ice Resort in Amadora
This year, the UBBO Shopping Resort, located in Amadora, will once again be transformed into an authentic Christmas Ice Resort where, of course, you’ll find an ice rink of very generous dimensions, with 450m2 of real ice
The UBBO ice rink is located in the shopping center’s Central Square and will remain there, waiting for you, until January 12, 2025.
To skate on this rink with your friends or family, you’ ll have to pay €5 to have fun for 20 minutes… or until you fall too many times to get up.

Wonderland, in Lisbon
One of the great Christmas attractions, with a record 852,000 visitors in 2023, will be back in town from November 29.
This edition will return to Parque Eduardo VII to the delight of many children and adults, and will remain there until January 5, 2025.
As well as all the areas you can visit, from the Christmas Village to the slides and the Ferris wheel, it has an ice rink with capacity for more than 100 people to skate at the same time.
Entry to Wonderland Lisboa is free and you can enjoy the ice rink for 20 minutes, also free of charge.

Christmas at the Enchanted Palace in Oeiras
This year, the theme of the Christmas at the Enchanted Palace event in Oeiras is “Family Magic”. And what better way to have fun this Christmas than on ice skates?
The party will take place mainly inside the palace, with various musical moments, but also in its gardens, where the little ones will find plenty of reasons to extend their visit.
There you’ll find an ice rink, inflatables, carousels, a snow cannon and, of course, the traditional Christmas train.

Cascais Christmas Village
As well as all the entertainment you and your family can enjoy at the Cascais Christmas Village, there’s one that’s going to be a lot of fun: skating on the ice rink.
So you know, until January 5, 2025, go to Parque Marechal Carmona to enjoy a skating session that we’re sure will be a lot of fun.

Christmas in Loures
The city of Loures, just a few kilometers from Lisbon, will once again be hosting its Christmas event, once again bringing its fun ice rink. Best of all, it’s free!

Óbidos Christmas Village
Óbidos is a must-visit at any time of year, but it’s at Christmas that it’s as beautiful as ever, thanks in no small part to its renowned Christmas Village, which fills the streets and alleys of this typical Portuguese town with magic.
It’s also where you’ll find one of the most incredible ice rinks, much to the delight of children and adults alike. Have fun!

Christmas in Alenquer
As well as the fireworks, the Christmas train, the giant nativity scene and the shopping market, at Christmas in Alenquer you’ll also be able to skate on these ice rinks, which are sure to delight the little ones.
