There are just a few days left until the start of another edition of Rock in Rio Lisbon. The festival returns to the newly renamed Parque Papa Francisco (formerly Parque Tejo) for two weekends filled with music and entertainment. With Katy Perry, Linkin Park, Rod Stewart, and 21 Savage headlining, the lineup promises to reflect the event’s artistic, cultural, and generational diversity.
On June 20, 21, 27, and 28, all roads lead to Cidade do Rock. However, to ensure that your only concern is making the most of the Rock in Rio Lisbon 2026concerts, we’ve put together a guide with all the information you need to know before leaving home.
General Information on the 11th Edition
Two years after its debut at this venue, the 11th edition of Rock in Rio Lisbon promises to transform the eastern part of Lisbon into a true “mecca” for festivalgoers. Considered one of the world’s largest music and entertainment festivals, the event is recommended only for those aged six and older, and children under three are not permitted entry.
To avoid long lines, please note that on June 20, 21, and 28, the gates open at 1:00 p.m. and close at 2:00 a.m. On June 27, the gates will open at 1:00 p.m., while closing time is scheduled for 3:00 a. m.
Tickets still available
Rock in Rio Lisbon 2026 is seeing high demand. In fact, it is no longer possible to purchase passes for the first weekend, nor single-day tickets for June 20 and 21.
As for the second weekend, the situation is different. That’s because two-day passes and single-day tickets for June 27 and 28 are still available .
For those who can (or wish to) enjoy a more “luxurious” experience, there are several options, including:
- Comfort Zone Daily Ticket (€179) – with access to an exclusive bar, food area, and restrooms, plus a guaranteed view of the Palco Mundo stage
- VIP Day Pass (€380) – includes access to this area, an open bar and catering, plus a shuttle service to the entrance of Cidade do Rock
- Haier Premium Club Daily Ticket (€7,995)—includes ten daily tickets with an open bar, catering, coat check, exclusive restrooms, a shuttle to the festival entrance, and more.

How do you get to Cidade do Rock?
There are several transportation options to get to the Rock in Rio Lisbon venue , but the CARRIS Shuttle is undoubtedly one of the most practical, efficient, and affordable choices.
With a round-trip ticket for €4, the CARRIS shuttle schedule has been extended to provide full coverage of the festival, specifically:
- Departures from Gare do Oriente – from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
- Departures from Parque Tejo (return) – from 11 p.m. to 3 a.m.
- On June 27, servicewill be extended until 4 a.m.

These items are not allowed
To ensure everyone’s safety at Cidade do Rock, access to the venue is subject to certain rules. For example, food is allowed only for personal consumption, up to a limit of four items per person, properly packed in plastic bags, as well as water bottles with a capacity of up to half a liter (with or without a cap).
Conversely, various items that could compromise safety and/or the normal operation of Cidade do Rock are prohibited from being brought in , specifically:
- Alcoholic Beverages
- Glass or metal containers
- Containers of liquids with a capacity greater than 100 ml (excluding the water bottles mentioned above)
- Helmets
- Drones
- Selfie sticks
- Speakers
- Lasers
- Weapons or dangerous objects
- Bags or backpacks larger than A4 size
- Illegal substances
