Rock in Rio Lisbon is just around the corner, in what will be the 11th edition of the world’s largest music festival in our city, the second to be held at Parque Tejo, in Parque das Nações, which will be transformed into the City of Rock to listen to the best music from the best bands and artists on the planet, on June 20, 21, 27, and 28, 2026.
After welcoming more than 300,000 people in 2024, one of the world’s most popular music festivals has already started selling tickets for the 2026 edition.
One of the big news items this year is Legends Day (June 27), which will have the honor of featuring several women icons from the 1980s to the 2000s on stage , joining the already announced headliner Rod Stewart.
One of the most recent confirmations is the iconic voice of the 1980s, Cyndi Lauper, who will be on the World Stage with the British singer on the same day.
Known for true anthems such as “Girls Just Want to Have Fun,” “True Colors,” and “Time After Time,” the American singer will make her debut at Rock in Rio Lisbon in 2026, with an emotionally charged show expected.
On the same day, the incredible 4 Non Blondes will also make their debut in Portugal, returning after decades away from the limelight; in addition to the return of contemporary soul legend Joss Stone, who will be the main artist on the new Super Bock Stage.
And speaking of this beautiful stage,formerly known as the Tejo Stage, the Rock in Rio organization has also announced,for June 21, the complete lineup celebrating the nostalgia of the 2000s, already headlined by the Kaiser Chiefs, now joined by the American band Hoobastank and the Portuguese bands Blasted Mechanism and Tara Perdida.
There is also news for the Music Valley Stage, with the legendary metal band Sepultura headlining on June 21, joined by one of the best-known nu metal bands, P.O.D., on the same stage.
Also confirmed for June 21, but for the Mundo stage, The Pretty Reckless will also be making their debut in our country with their mix of intense hard rock sounds and a dazzling visual show.

After announcing one of the biggest headliners ever, the American band Linkin Park (confirmed for June 21 on the Mundo stage), which left all rock fans ecstatic, it was time to confirm another big name in world pop: Katy Perry, who will bring her latest album of original songs, “143,” released in September 2024, and the Firework diva is expected to perform many of her hits.

It’s true! There will be a day dedicated to the greatest legends of music, June 27 (Saturday), and the first name for this day has also been announced: Rod Stewart, one of the greatest legends of world rock, who will present an exclusive concert prepared solely for Rock in Rio Lisbon. We’re sure you’ll hear the most classic – and popular – songs , such as “Maggie May,” “Da Ya Think I’m Sexy?,” “Sailing,” and “Forever Young.”
Cindy Lauper, Shaggy, and now the legendary The Wailers are also among the confirmed acts for this day, which promises to bring a lot of nostalgia to Parque Tejo.
Also playing a major role in the Rock in Rio lineup in 2026 are the kings of Portuguese rock, Xutos & Pontapés, who this year are inviting some of their long-time friends to the Music Valley Stage: GNR, UHF, and Táxi, three of the national bands that have helped define Portuguese rock from the 1980s to the present day.
Also noteworthy is the performance by artist Syro on the Super Bock Stage, a singer-songwriter who made a name for himself on the national music scene with the single “Perto de Mim,” released in 2020.

Charlie Puth
Charlie Puth is back on the World Stage on June 20, ten years after his debut at Rock in Rio. The star returns to Portugal as one of the biggest hitmakers on the planet to kick off his new European tour. With over 35 billion streams and a resume that includes the global hit “See You Again” and collaborations with Justin Bieber and Jung Kook, Puth arrives at a golden stage in his career, with a concert that will serve as a showcase for his new album, Whatever’s Clever!, scheduled for release on March 27, 2026.
Pedro Sampaio
Brazilian star Pedro Sampaiowill take the stage on the same day as Katy Perry, June 20. The DJ, producer, and singer became known for the electrifying energy he injects into his mix of funk with other cultural rhythms from Brazil. “Dançarina” and “Pocpoc” are some of his biggest hits. It should also be noted that Pedro Sampaio intends to “create the biggest horse in the world” at Rock in Rio Lisbon 2026.
Calema
Formed by brothers Fradique and António Mendes Ferreira, natives of São Tomé and Príncipe, the Portugal-based musical duo stood out with the song “A Nossa Dança,” becoming a regular presence in the national and internationalcharts of Lusophone music. Linkin Park
Theband that shaped generations with true anthems such as “In The End” and “Numb” is back for a new era. With Mike Shinoda and the rest of the group’s core members (Brad Delson, Dave Farrell, Joe Hahn), Emily Armstrong now takes on the lead vocal role. An icon of Brazilian music, Belo brings to Lisbon a repertoire laden with nostalgia, with classics such as “Farol das Estrelas” and “Refém do Coração.”
Syro
A Portuguese singer, songwriter, and drummer born in 1995, he made a name for himself on the national music scene with the single “Perto de Mim” released in 2020. He started in the music world at the age of 12 as a drummer, joined the band Caelum’s Edge, and in 2018 began a solo career.

Lola Índigo
The confirmation came directly from Madrid, during the global Road to Rock in Rio campaign that took the festival to Plaza del Callao, and soon as the headliner on June 28, on the Super Bock Stage. The Spanish phenomenon, after drawing 120,000 people on her last stadium tour, makes her debut in Lisbon with a renewed and visually stunning show. The confirmation reinforces the event’s commitment to the international market and consolidates Lola Índigo as one of the most influential voices of the new generation, promising to dominate Parque Tejo with the energy of La Bruja, La Niña y El Dragón.
These are, for now, the first confirmations for the world’s largest music and entertainment festival, taking place on June 20, 21, 27, and 28, 2026, at Parque Tejo in Lisbon.
