Cheese is one of the oldest foods of all time, and there isn’t a Portuguese person who doesn’t like to eat it, no matter what time of day it is. That’s why, once again, we made a Herculean effort (just kidding, it was with great pleasure… and gusto) to go in search of the best cheese shops in Lisbon.
In these spaces you’ll find not only our most traditional cheeses, such as our well-known Serra da Estrela, but also the always divine French cheeses, centuries-old Dutch cheeses, intense Italian che eses and, of course, the no less famous “pieces of gluttony” from England and Spain.

Maître Renard – Fromagerie
The owners of this cheese shop in Lisbon, Ulysse and Quentin, take great pride in the cheeses they offer to all their customers.
With cheeses from all four corners of the world, we can say that the great specialty will be French cheeses, the country from which they originate.
However, don’t miss out on other “treats” hidden in this store, such as butters, French wines, artisanal mustards and even an excellent selection of French and Portuguese beers.
