Celebrate at the festive Columbina Ball
With the theme “Rebela e Rebola”, the Colombina Clandestina collective has already been partying since February 9, but the traditional Colombina Ball only takes place on Carnival Saturday , March 1, at Mitra de Marvila, from 8pm to 6am.
The poster has also just been announced! On the Rebela Track: Paolle Berklyn, Joya, Gavi, Yura and Lili Mendes; and on Pista Rebola: Cigarra, MX, Nayzera, Lian:e and S4DO.
As the largest street carnival block to parade outside Brazil, Colombina Clandestina promises to bring to the streets the representation of a free and open party, with many nationalities, accompanied by thousands of revellers (last year there were 20,000).
Rio Carnival at the Sheraton Cascais
If you’re looking for gastronomic Carnival plans, the “Rio Carnival” will arrive at the Sheraton Cascais with unique flavors and rhythms on March 1.
The Resort invites you to an unforgettable celebration with the authentic spirit of Rio Carnival, in a party that promises to be an explosion of flavors, with an irresistible menu that includes the traditional Brazilian Feijoada, the exotic Moqueca de Peixe and an unmissable showcooking of Picanha na Grill.

Elrow Hallucinarium
The Elrow parties have already toured the world, landing once again in Lisbon on March 1, in Parque das Nações.
This year’s motto is Hallucinarium, a musical-performance experience inspired by the mystical and psychedelic art of Alex Grey and Allyson Grey, which invites participants to enter a cosmic journey through the heights and depths of human consciousness.
The stage, alive with vibrant sculptural beings and mesmerizing scenery, reflects the interconnectedness and sacred geometries associated with the Greys’ art. All you can expect at this party is lots of music, magic and partying until the sun comes up.
Carnival of mystery and seduction at Magic Moments
Lisbon’s Magic Moments restaurant is preparing to host an unforgettable evening next Saturday, March 1, under the theme of Carnival.
The venue promises to be transformed into a stage of mystery and seduction, where surprising shows and daring performances will enchant those present, who will be invited to don their most creative disguises for an event that promises a vibrant atmosphere, full of passion and fantasy.
Tickets are already available and the organization encourages those interested to secure their place at this unmissable evening.
Carnival in Penha de França
The neighborhood of Penha de França has Carnival plans for all ages: on February 28 (Friday) you can watch the Carnival parade of the parish’s schools, departing from Praça Paiva Couceiro (at 10am) and arriving at Alameda with entertainment and a DJ (at 11am); on the same day and at the same time, there is also a Carnival parade for the over 55s.
Carnival in Arroios
On Friday, February 28, the Arroios Parish Council is organizing a parade along Avenida Almirante Reis to Largo do Intendente Pina Manique, with the aim of providing moments of fun and interaction between children from the various public and private schools, the senior community and the community in general.
The parade, which will set off from three different points (Praça das Novas Nações, Campo dos Mártires da Pátria and Jardim Constantino) will be attended by the entire school and senior community of the parish of Arroios, with around 2,000 people expected to take part and parade to Largo do Intendente Pina Manique.
Carnival in Benfica
The Benfica Parish Council will be holding a Carnival parade for the first time on Tuesday (March 4), in an event that extends to neighboring Amadora.
The gathering will take place from 2pm to 3.30pm at Parque da Granja, in Benfica , where Bloco Bué Tolo will perform. Then, from 3.30pm, Banda Axé Babá will parade down Avenida do Colégio Militar, along Estrada de Benfica, then Avenida Elias Garcia, until they reach Amadora Este Metro station, where, at 5.30pm, they will say goodbye to Carnival 2025.
Oceanário celebrates Carnival revelry
“Holidays Underwater” is back at the Oceanário de Lisboa to celebrate Carnival fun, with activities for children aged 4 to 12.

Carnival at the Museum of Lisbon
The Lisbon Museum is once again celebrating this date with another day full of fun and knowledge.
On March 1, between 6pm and 11pm, the Carnival party highlights the plurality of identities and cultures; you’ll have access to the usual food and drink and the photo booth, with the evening being filled with: the workshop “The invention of colors” (between 6pm and 9pm); the clue game “The colors of the museum” (between 6pm and 9pm); the “Latin rhythmsworkshop “ (6.30pm); and the “Vogueworkshop (8.30pm) by the Udance School. The evening ends with a DJ set by César Martins, with hits from the past.
Secretinho Carnival Block
On March 2, Marvila will host the debut of Bloco de Carnaval Secretinho, which presents itself with a different proposal, featuring Brazilian Carnival classics, Techno, Portuguese Pop and Funk.
This is one of the Carnival plans that will have everything, being divided between parade, concert and party, with the promise of lots of mixing and fun , between 2pm (at Parque Ribeirinho Oriente) and 8pm, at 8 Marvila.
