The 3rd edition of “BEERiceira – Craft Beer Fest” promises lots of new things by the sea: the craft beer festival, already considered one of the biggest in the Lisbon district, will take place from September 5 to 7 at Parque de Santa Marta, in the charming village of Ericeira, which is already preparing to welcome all craft beer lovers .
In an event that promises to be a real toast to the end of summer, between September 5 and 7, more than 20 national breweries and special guests from Spain will set up by the sea, bringing with them more than 100 taps with the most varied styles of craft beer.
More than beer
For those who don’t like beer, no problem! There will be kombucha, cider, lemonades and craft cocktails, always accompanied by a privileged view of Ericeira’s waves and a sunset that promises to be memorable.
And if you’re looking for more information and knowledge about this “new” world of craft beer, at the “BEERiceira – Craft Beer Fest” you’ll also be able to attend lectures and talks on sustainability, the role of hops and the creative possibilities of beers, presented by national and international experts, as well as guided tastingworkshops, where the emphasis will be on Sours, IPAs and Spanish craft beers, which will also be available if you want to brush up on your knowledge.
As far as gastronomy is concerned, you can expect showcooking sessions offered by chefs from the Immerso and Aethos hotels, who will be bringing various creative fusions between haute cuisine and craft beer to this sunset, and there will also be a street food area for all tastes, including vegetarian.
There’s just one thing missing, isn’t there? Entertainment, which will include live music and DJ sets, when it makes the most sense to toast as the sun sets over the beautiful horizon of this iconic World Surfing Reserve.
To round off the activities, this is also an event for families, who can leave the little ones in the kidzone or play mini-golf with them.
Please note that entry to the “BEERiceira – Craft Beer Fest” is free, but if you want to taste the beers, you can buy the official festival glass for 4 euros, valid for all three days.
