The UBBO Shopping Resort in Amadora has an ice rink to entertain all its visitors at this time of year.
This year, it returns on the same day as last year, October 31st, just in time to celebrate another festive date, Halloween, on a day when everyone in costume doesn’t pay.
Everyone is invited to fill the ice rink with music from the 80s and 90s from 6pm . If you don’t have anything to wear yet, you might find the spookiest costume in one of these Halloween costume stores.
The ice rink
As in previous years, the ice rink at UBBO is made of real ice (it’s very cold), which makes this experience different and a lot of fun.
The ice rink at UBBO will open on October 31st, right on Halloween, as you can see in the video below, and will be here until January 12th, 2025.
The UBBO ice rink is located in the Central Square and tickets cost €5 (20 minutes) for the more experienced. If you need “help” from a reindeer or seal, the price goes up to €3.
If you’re going as a family, you can buy a package of four tickets (plus two seals or reindeer) for €23.
The other new features
As well as the usual ice rink, this year UBBO is highlighting other surprises, such as the cable car, where you can take photos, and a jukebox with the best-known Christmas tunes.
The shopping center will also be decorated with a 12-metre high Christmas tree and a life-size Santa’s sleigh that will delight the little ones.
But the moment all the children will love is when Santa and his helpers arrive at UBBO.
