Between Lisbon and Cascais there is a line that takes you to some of the best beaches in the world lisbon metropolitan area: the beaches of the Cascais coastline.
The Cascais Line is so named because, you guessed it, the train runs from Cais do Sodré in Lisbon to the final station in Cascais, a journey that can take almost an hour.. . if you don’t stop at every station to get to know these sands better.
These beaches are popular with both locals and tourists due to their proximity to the capital and the ease of access by public transport, such as the train.
But let’s stop talking and dive into these – more or less – mild waters of the Tagus River.
