Hot days in the city call for fresh dishes, and nothing beats good sushi to cool you down at lunch.
With this in mind, the Akla restaurant at the InterContinental Lisbon has just launched a new culinary offering: starting at noon, Tuesday through Sunday, the freshest sushi is served.
Fresh fish takes center stage from Tuesday through Sunday

Designed for both quick business meals and relaxed get-togethers with friends, the new menu focuses on what raw fish purists are looking for.
To start, Akla suggests the classic miso soup (€12), which shares the spotlight with gyoza (€9 for 3 pieces) (chicken or vegetarian). The next choice will be more difficult: between traditional platters (€26 for 15 pieces), sashimi slices (€12 for 6 pieces), temakis (€10 per piece), salmon tartare (€12), or the inevitable tuna tataki (€14), the focus is on the quality of the cut and the freshness of the ingredients.

The finishing touch breaks away from conventional desserts and stays true to Japanese inspiration, with a delicate Matcha Mille-Feuille (€10), the light citrus notes of a Yuzu Pavlova (€10), or the unmistakable texture of Ice Cream Mochis (€10).
Monday is Ramen Day

If you go on a Monday, the rice and fish rolls take a back seat to another giant of Japanese cuisine: ramen, featuring a selection of refined, rich, and intense broths.
