If you’re looking for fun, gastronomy and relaxing moments in Lisbon, then we have a good idea for you: the Lisbon Marriott Hotel’s tropical garden, which has prepared a series of special events to celebrate this summer.
Until the end of August, in addition to the already famous Pool Brunch (every Saturday and Sunday between 12:30 and 15:30), which combines live music with a DJ, a table full of good things to try and access to the outdoor pool until 19:00, you can also enjoy the reopening of the Paradiso Bar. Pool for everyone
One of the great novelties this year is that everyone, guests and visitors alike, will be able to enjoy the Lisbon Marriott Hotel’s outdoor pool, every day until August 31st, between 11am and 7pm.
Access to this pool (we’ve been there and it’s very pleasant) has a daily price of 37 euros per person, and it’s believed that it will be one of the refreshing oases to consider this summer, being surrounded by palm trees and lush vegetation.
One of the best brunches in town
Believe us, we’ve been to several: this hotel’s brunch, at the CITRUS restaurant, which has just received the international certification “The PLEDGE on Food Waste”, the first restaurant in Portugal to receive this designation for its commitment to reducing food waste, is one of the best brunches in Lisbon.
During the summer season, as always, it offers an extra: access to the pool until 7pm , adding even more unique moments, such as live music with a DJ.
This year’s gastronomic novelties, prepared by experienced chef Dominic Smart, include freshly made egg stations and hot options such as roast beef with barbecue sauce, sea bream fillet with avocado and seafood ravioli. For those who prefer something lighter, the options are also diverse, with a poke bowl bar to satisfy all the guests. For the little ones, in addition to the delicious desserts, we highlight the menus of mini pizzas, quesadillas and pancakes.
Access to the Pool Brunch costs 59 euros per person and includes drinks such as smoothies, water, coffee and tea. Children up to 4 years old are free and from 5 to 12 years old have a 50% discount.
Reopening of the Paradiso Bar
Also located in the hotel’s garden, this summer the Paradiso Bar presents a revamped menu, with suggestions such as steak in bolo do caco, piri-piri chicken toast, salads and homemade sweets.
Drinks include classic cocktails, Spritz, mocktails, gin, whisky, sparkling wine, beer, wines and natural juices.
With these proposals, the Lisbon Marriott Hotel reinforces itself as a privileged destination for those who want to enjoy Lisbon’s summer without leaving the city, whether to relax by the pool, enjoy a lively brunch or sip cocktails out doors.
