SUD Lisboa
The SUD Pool Experience is one of the trendiest places in Lisbon and probably the most “instagrammable” pool in the city. After all, the setting couldn’t be better, with the Tagus right next door and the 25 de Abril Bridge as a backdrop.
Between dives, which you can take between 10am and 6pm, there’s nothing better than enjoying the snacks and cocktails at the SUD Pool Lounge.
The price is 95 euros and includes access to the pool, a sun lounger or chaise longue, exclusive use of the changing room, locker, towels, bathrobe and slippers.
Address: Avenida Brasília (Pavilhão Poente next to MAAT)
Lux Lisboa Park
The swimming pool at Lux Lisboa Park is one of the city’s best kept secrets.
This four-star hotel, between Rua Artilharia 1 and Parque Eduardo VII, hides a pool at the top, where there is also a jacuzzi and a cocktail bar.
It’s one of the most accessible pools in the city center, but there’s a catch: use of the pool by non-guests is subject to availability, so you should always call ahead.
Address: Rua Padre António Vieira 32
Altis Belém Hotel & SPA
This five-star hotel in Belém gives you access not only to the outdoor pool (the sun deck), but also to the spa, where there is a spectacular indoor pool.
While in the former, the views are incredible, with the Tagus and the Belém Tower right next door, inside the atmosphere is more serene and invites you to relax.
Address: Doca do Bom Sucesso
Oeiras Ocean Pool
Next to the marina, with the sea right next to it, this is one of the most popular pools in Greater Lisbon.
It has an area for children and a VIP area, as well as sun loungers that will keep you relaxed for many hours. It also has a modern and very comfortable bar.
In the low season, until the end of June and in September, the pool is open between 10am and 7pm, while in July and August it is open from 9.30am to 8pm.

Muchaxo Inn swimming pool
With a privileged view of the Guincho sea, this pool in Lisbon has salt water and is located at the Hotel Estalagem Muchaxo, but is open to non-guests.
It’s therefore perfect for those who don’t like sand and a lot of mess. If you fancy a drink or a snack, there’s also a small bar.
Address: Guincho Beach
Arribas Sintra Hotel
This is one of the largest saltwater pools in Europe! Yes, the water comes directly from the sea, so it’s not the warmest (between 19ºC and 24ºC), but at least there’s plenty of room for diving and swimming.
What’s more, the view of the sea and Praia Grande (Sintra) is incredible, perfect for photographs and for… making your friends jealous.
Oh, and there’s also a bar, as well as changing rooms and lockers, which always come in handy. Prices vary depending on the time of year and how long you’re in the pool.
Address: Avenida Alfredo Coelho 28 (Colares, Sintra)
Reverse Pool & Beach (former Tamariz pool)
It’s no coincidence that it’s called “the coolest lounge beach in Linha”. This space in the heart of Tamariz Beach, in Estoril , promises “glamor and privacy with one foot in the sand”.
Here, you can even rent a bed right in front of the pool and have a cocktail or snack brought to you. If you prefer a more composed meal, there’ s also a restaurant on offer.
