There are more and more gastronomic novelties in Lisbon. After the announcement of the new menu at Hamburgueria do Bairro and the opening of No.Sense, it’s now time to focus our attention on another innovative concept: the emergence of Smokin Asia BBQ.
Since the beginning of the year, the space has had a kiosk in Time Out Market Lisboa and has been in preparation for some time by chef Maurício Vale, who is responsible for Asian Lab. But what’s different about the sandwiches at Smokin Asia BBQ?
In a statement sent to Lisboa Secreta, the concept is described as innovative:
[Yeah], it combines the best of barbecue and the authenticity of the flavors of Asian culture, which takes a sandwich to the next level. The secret to the success of this kiosk is the quality of the meat, a noble cut of beef (brisket) from North America, which is cooked over a long fire and cured for a further 10 days, resulting in a brisket pastrami.”
