From May 1 to July 31, the municipality of Loures will become the snail capital, featuring the most original dishes you can imagine.
This is just one of the reasons to head to Loures, which has plenty of other attractions, whether for a late afternoon with friends or a pleasant family outing — especially since there will be no shortage of things to talk about once you start sampling all the incredible snail recipes at this festival, which are truly out of the ordinary.
In addition to the traditional snail dish
It’s true! On the Saloio Snail Route , you’ll be able to explore and taste flavors you never imagined in a snail dish, challenging you to try something beyond the traditional recipe.
