Are you looking for places to take your first summer dips? Following last year’s success, Salina Splash is set to reopen its pool complex for the 2026 season on Saturday, June 13. But before that, there’s a “Pool Party” to welcome the hottest season.
Where is Salina Splash located?
Located in Baixa da Banheira, in the municipality of Moita, Salina Splash is about 30 minutes from the Portuguese capital, in Zeca Afonso Park, along the Tagus River waterfront.
Hawaiian-style “Pool Party”
The reopening date for this venue was announced via Salina Splash’s official Instagram account, which also announced a Hawaiian-style “Pool Party” on June 10, a holiday , from 3:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
According to the information shared, tickets cost €20 and include one drink (beer, juice, or water). In addition, the party program features music and entertainment, and attendees are encouraged to dress up to experience an authentic tropical party.
What can you expect?
In this space designed with the whole family in mind, you’ll find pools for various age groups, water slides, expansive lawn areas, naturally shaded spots , and a snack bar serving ice cream and cold drinks.
On which days can you ‘take a dip’?
According to available information, the venue is open on the following days and times:
- Monday through Friday: 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
- Weekends (all day): 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Please note that weekday mornings , between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m., are reserved for school groups, private social security institutions, and others, by prior appointment.
How to get to Salina Splash?
Located in the Lisbon Metropolitan Area, just over 34 kilometers from the capital, Salina Splash is relatively easy and quick to reach, taking just over 30 minutes to get there by car from Lisbon.
To get there, simply take the 25 de Abril Bridge or the Vasco da Gama Bridge and head toward the A2 or A33 in the direction of Moita/Baixa da Banheira. However, traveling by car is not the only option available; there are several public transportation alternatives, such as bus, train, and ferry connections.
