The Popular Saints in Praça da Alegria began on May 27 and will continue until June 16 , every day from 12pm until 10pm, on Fridays, Saturdays and public holiday eves until mid night, and on the St. Anthony’s holiday, the party will last until 1am.
Every Friday, Saturday and national holiday eve you’ll be able to enjoy live music and, of course, plenty of food, including delicious pork on the spit, grilled sardines and drinks to keep you going all night.

Live music
The Popular Saints celebrations in Praça da Alegria will feature a wide range of musical entertainment.
Free entry and children’s playground
Entry to this St. Anthony’s festival is free, but get there early because the seats go in a flash. Anyway, there’s always another seat on the grass or at the kiosk next door.
Praça da Alegria also has a small playground where the little ones can burn off their energy while their parents dance.
