Anyone with children at home knows that mealtimes can be quite stressful, right? That’s why we suggest some kid-friendly restaurants in Lisbon where you can go with the kids any day, whether it’s for the super colorful and attractive menu, the comfort or the space for them to run around freely.
Our city is clearly an authentic amusement park, not only for adults but also for all children.
And these children’s restaurants in Lisbon are both ideal for small families and also cater to the gastronomic and entertainment desires of larger families.
All because they combine good food and fun areas with activities for the little ones in one place.
Table Of Contents
ZeroZero Pizzeria
ZeroZero brings a piece of Italy to the heart of the Royal Prince and Parque das Nações.
The pizzas are really tasty, made with ingredients that mostly come from Italian producers.
The decor is beautiful, the atmosphere pleasant and the terraces, with a very pretty garden, are great for those with children.
Address: Rua da Escola Politécnica 32 (Príncipe Real); Alameda dos Oceanos, Lote 2.11.01H (Parque das Nações)
Maria Croissant
Okay, it’s not exactly the meal we imagine for the little ones, but how about saving this idea for a snack?
Maria dos Croissants, which has one of the lisbon’s most delicious croissants, always has a special surprise for all the children.
Address: Colombo Shopping Center
My Mother’s Daughters
My Mother’s Daughters is one of our favorite children’s restaurants in Lisbon. And it’s located in a super charming area of São Sebastião.
Maria José Vasconcelos, the mother, opened this organic café with her daughters, Cristina, Inês and Madalena.
The idea of the café is to offer nutritious, tasty options with natural ingredients. The space, although small, is very comfortable.
And if you go on a sunny day, you can take advantage of the paved area in front, which is also very inviting for children.
Address: Largo de São Sebastião da Pedreira 49 (São Sebastião)
Matateu snack tray
Matateu has the three basic things you need to cater for kids: good food, outdoor space and friendly service, making it one of the best children’s restaurants in Lisbon.
The suggestion here is to order several different snacks to share with the whole family. This way, everyone can try everything and there’s no stress when it comes to deciding who’s going to order what.
Address: Restelo Stadium (Avenida do Restelo)
Stone House
The Casa de Pedra restaurant has one of the largest areas on this list, with plenty of space (inside and outside the restaurant) for children to play. After all, this is where one of the country’s biggest music festivals takes place, the MEO Kalorama.
Before you let them run around the huge green park, the Casa de Pedra restaurant serves pregos, hamburgers and pica-pau, just to name a few of the most popular dishes for the little ones.
Address: Avenida Dr. Arlindo Vicente (Parque da Bela Vista)
Popolo
Although it’s not open (on social media they say it’s temporarily closed), the restaurant Popolo may well be one of the greatest ideas for children who are easily distracted during meals.
The whole space has been designed with the little ones in mind, with matching décor full of colorful graffiti and, to entertain them between courses, they can have fun on the various games machines, on the Playstation and with a Ring Light.
As for the food, at Popolo you’ll find children’s favorites such as hamburgers, hot dogs, pizzas, salads, sweets, ice cream and even vegetarian options.
Address: Avenida 24 de Julho 50-50F (Santos)
Opening hours: temporarily closed
