It’s called “Brunch do Governador: Sabores de Inverno” (Governor’s Brunch: Winter Flavors ) and the name is as evocative as it sounds, since the promise is that it will warm you up on the coldest days of November, especially if you try some of the suggestions on the menu, which includes a surprising Cozido à Portuguesa (Portuguese Stew ) and even Roast Lamb.

The latest brunch at the Palácio do Governador – Lisbon Hotel & Spa, located in Belém, joins one of our favorite brunches in the city, also at this location, the BBQ Brunch Palacial, which will be replaced by this new offer every Sunday throughout November.
It stands out for its fusion of traditional Portuguese dishes, including the famous Cozido à Portuguesa (Portuguese stew), Cabrito Assado no Forno (roast lamb), Feijoada do Mar (sea bean stew), Bacalhau (codfish ) and Sopa de Peixe (fish soup ), dishes that will be presented week by week until the end of the month.
These generous portions, which you can repeat as many times as you like, are accompanied by a wide selection of breads, pastries and sweets, as well as a variety of cold meats and salads.
As for drinks, Bar Bartolomeu, also located in this incredible and beautiful hotel on the banks of the Tagus, offers two special cocktails: the sophisticated Negroni and the refreshing Bica Martini, both created to pair perfectly with this brunch at the Palácio do Governador. Orange juice, coffee, selected teas, sparkling wine and water will also be available.

We’ve left the best for last: to this brunch at the Palácio do Governador you can add an even more relaxing experience, where for an extra €20 you’ll have access to the heated indoor pool and other amenities. And trust us, we’ve been there before: it’ s a bargain.
The “Governor’s Brunch: Winter Flavors” costs €45 per person, and there are special conditions for the little ones: from 4 to 12 years old only pay half the price, while children up to the age of 3 can enjoy this relaxing gastronomic offer for free.
