Lisbon is a city with an enviable cultural agenda, always packed with concerts, exhibitions and literary festivals. But the surrounding municipalities also breathe culture and art, with a wide and varied offer. And Cascais is one of the best examples of this.
Time is flying by and we’re already fast approaching a new season. Halloween is coming soon and it won’t be long before we start thinking about Christmas decorations. But until then, believe me: September still holds many unmissable events in Cascais.

Chefs on Fire Cascais
The 7th edition of Chefs on Fire is coming to Marechal Carmona Park in a big way, with a special program that brings together several national and international chefs, including several Michelin stars and Repsol Suns.
As well as new dishes prepared over fire, there will also be a Fire School with workshops by Alexandre Silva, gastronomic photography with Arlindo Camacho and inspiring Fire Talks. The event promises unique experiences for lovers of good food and gastronomic culture.
Address: Parque Marechal Carmona, Cascais
Dates: September 20th and 21st
A journey through the works of Paula Rego
After gastronomy, how about a more artistic plan? The exhibition “The CHPR Collection in Dialogue” invites you to travel through the work of one of Portugal’s most fascinating artists.
This exhibition offers a different look at Paula Rego’s artistic production, from the 1960s to the 2000s, including paintings, sculptures and textile works.

Leadership Summit Portugal
In this article there are events for literally every taste. If, instead of gastronomy and art, you’re looking to improve your soft skills and learn from leading experts, there are also options waiting for you.
On September 25, Casino Estoril is hosting the Leadership Summit Portugal. Under the theme “The Game of Leaders – New Rules for Politics, Earth, AI and Humans”, the initiative promises to debate major current issues.
There, you’ll find talks, interviews and even DJ moments, in an initiative aimed at deepening knowledge, with different ways of participating.
