The announcement is made: Chefs on Fire, considered (also by us) to be the biggest gastronomic festival in the country, is moving to Cascais, more precisely to Parque Marechal Carmona, leaving FIARTIL, in Estoril, which has been its home for the past six editions.
Therefore, for the 7th edition of Chefs on Fire Cascais, the organization promises unprecedented experiences and the most star-studded line-up in the history of the event, which this year will be able to feed around 5,000 people a day.

New home, same gastronomic celebration
The iconic Marechal Carmona Park will then serve as a lunch and dinner table where an exclusive selection of 18 national and international chefs (per day) will create new dishes during the two days celebrating food on fire and music.
This year’s menu includes Michelin stars, Repsol Suns and lots of creativity:
- Américo dos Santos from Belcanto (2 Michelin stars, 3 Repsol Suns);
- Rui Paula and Catarina Correia from Casa de Chá da Boa Nova (1 Michelin star, 2 Repsol Suns);
- Rodolfo Lavrador from CURA, at the Ritz Four Seasons Hotel Lisboa (1 Michelin star, 2 Repsol Suns).
From the north to the south of the country, the list of chefs is more complete with:
- Óscar Geadas (G Pousada, Bragança);
- Hugo Candeias (Ofício);
- Kiko Martins (O Talho);
- Filipe Rodrigues (Taberna do Mar);
- Nuno Castro (Fava Tonka);
- Juliana Penteado, Sara Soares (Caos Vegetal);
- Ana Leão (Babel);
- André Cruz (Feitoria);
- Diogo Formiga (Encanto);
- Nuno Mendes (Locke Santa Joana);
- António Galapito (Prado);
- Fábio Quiraz (Vista);
- and Noélia Jerónimo, who represents the Algarve through cuisine inspired by the Ria Formosa.
More new experiences
That’s not all about what’s new in this edition, as this year there will also be room to educate, through the School of Fire curated by Chef Alexandre Silva, which will offer workshops on techniques for cooking with fire.
If you like photography, the Photography School by Arlindo Camacho will also offer practical sessions on how to capture the essence of dishes.
And for the more gastro-minded (or the less so), Paulo Amado will be moderating some talks and debates on topics relevant to the art of cooking, at the Fire Talks.
