There is a new Manteigaria in Belém, opening this month at Rua de Belém 106, joining the existing one on the same street, but located at door number 31.
The new store will be open daily from 8am to 9pm and there you’ll be able to taste, of course, one of the best pastéis de nata in Lisbon… at least for us.
In plain sight
As with the brand’s other stores in Chiado and Rua Augusta, Manteigaria’s newest space will maintain the concept, especially the handmade production, where customers can watch the entire process, from start to finish. This alone is a fantastic experience that you can’t miss whenever you go there.
In Belém… and around the world!
Belém is one of the most traditional places in Lisbon to try Lisbon’s famous crispy custard tarts.
So it’s not surprising that this renowned store, where we love this sweet, has opened a new space in this part of town, , where you can enjoy the creamy pastel de nata accompanied by a sour cherry or a Port wine.
At the same time as the opening of Manteigaria in Belém, the brand also opened its second store in France, in the Parisian capital, with more openings announced in Lisbon, Porto, Madrid, Macau and Paris.
We are very excited about the new opening in Belém, where you can watch the manufacturing process from the street through the four windows that show the entire artisanal production of Pastel de Nata,” explains Jaime Soares, General Manager of Manteigaria.
Where are the Manteigaria stores?
With the opening of the second space in Belém, there are now 12 addresses in Portugal, nine of which are in the capital, two in Porto and one in Braga.
You can find the address of all of them in this chart below or on the Manteigaria website.
