They were here in 2021 and now they’re back at the Cordoaria Nacional with a new exhibition of LEGO® models, the “Invasion of the Giants”, from June 21 to September 28.
Once again, they stand out for bringing to Lisbon the largest exhibition of models made with LEGO® pieces in Europe, this time with constructions that promise to surprise all visitors, of all ages, with more than 100 gigantic models, hundreds of models and almost 10 million pieces, distributed in three areas, over 2,000 m² of exhibition area.
The highlights of the new exhibition
Inspired by the Star Wars universe, the biggest highlights of the new exhibition in Lisbon will be the replica of the Tie Fighter™, three meters high and built with 250,000 pieces; and also the world’s largest copy of the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center, seven meters high and with more than a million pieces, which still include the buildings of the original New York complex.
The other attractions
In the second edition of this LEGO® model exhibition in Lisbon, you won’t see a single piece repeated, they’re all new models. If you remember, in the first edition they brought a huge replica of the famous Titanic, which surprised everyone with its size, as you can see in this video we shot in 2021.
The LEGO® model exhibition is divided into several themed zones, including:
- Star Wars™ Universe, with vehicles, iconic scenes and large-scale figures;
- City model with 750,000 pieces and 20 m², full of unusual situations;
- Cartoon World, with models of characters such as Peppa Pig™, Minions™ and Disney® Princesses;
- Movie Zone, with scenes from Transformers™, Harry Potter™, The Addams™ Family and busts of villains from the Batman™ universe;
- Educational models, which cover topics such as biology, chemistry and the history of inventions;
- Architecture area, with models of emblematic buildings such as Burj Khalifa and the Golden Gate Bridge;
- Video games area, with inspiration from Minecraft™, Super Mario Bros™ and Fortnite™;
- Interactive models and sculptures exploring human emotions.
More news: a second exhibition and three creative zones
As if the LEGO® experience wasn’t enough, you can also visit the 3D Interactive Trick Gallery, which is one of the largest collections of 3D images in a single space. Here you can take incredible and atypical photos in unique and impossible scenarios.
In addition to these exhibitions, you can also have fun with the little ones in three creative zones: Little Ones Station, Besties World and Fun Zone.
