The 9th Lisbon International Orchid Show will take place at the Santa Clara Market, next to the Feira da Ladra, on November 28, 29 and 30, once again organized by the Portuguese Orchid Association (APO).
The event promises to be a true paradise for lovers of these flowers, with an impressive variety of orchids from all over the world: more than 90,000 varieties.

Other exotic and rare plants
The exhibition will also showcase specimens from growers and collectors, including some rarities from Brazil and Africa. Visitors will not only be able to admire, but also enjoy the aroma of these natural wonders.
Also with all botany lovers in mind, this exhibition will also present the public with some exhibitors dedicated to bonsai, tillandsias (air plants), bromeliads, cacti, succulents and other tropical plants.
And, as in previous years, the plants will be judged by a panel of specialized judges who, following the international “Ribbon Judging – Best In Show” model, will distinguish the most impressive specimens and award them prizes
In addition to the orchids, you’ll also have access to products derived from them, such as liqueurs, chocolates and even jewelry, while the APO will offer talks on cultivation and the uses of these plants.
