At the request of several families, Francesinha Week at the ZunZum restaurant will return for more days dedicated to one of the most emblematic dishes of the northern region of the country, especially Porto, but which you can also find in several places in Lisbon.
One of these places will be, for a whole week, one of the coolest gastrobars in the capital, Zunzum, which belongs to the recently Michelin-starred Chef Marlene Vieira.
Let’s get to know the menu, with 5 unique recipes
The menu will be similar to last year’s, with five unique Francesinha recipes, made with the best ingredients, which you can try from January 18 to February 1:
- Açoriana (22€)
- straight from the Zunzum menu and available all year round, with bolo lêvedo, Azorean beef steak, São Jorge cheese (aged for 3 months), São Miguel sausage paste and traditional sauce with ground pepper;
- “Alentejana” (P19€)
- with lamb, Serpa cheese, herbs, egg yolk and traditional sauce;
- Tuna and Shrimp (22€)
- with flatbread, tuna steak, shrimp and cuttlefish “salami”, shrimp and traditional sauce;
- Vegetarian (18€)
- with carob brioche, portobello mushroom, fried onion, Flemish cheese, egg and vegetarian sauce;
- Classic (19€)
- with flatbread, sirloin steak, pork sausage, salami, sausage, Flemish cheese, egg and traditional sauce.
All dishes are served with the traditional fried egg and French fries.
