Capítulo Restaurant & Bar, housed in a 13th century convent, has presented a new menu that celebrates Portuguese flavors with a contemporary twist.
Under the guiding hand of Executive Chef Celso Padeiro and Resident Chef Isaque Cunha, the “Market-to-Table” concept comes to life, bringing together fresh ingredients, technique and creativity, with starters such as Beef Tartar and Roasted Morcela da Guarda being the highlights.
For main courses, options such as Charcoal Roasted Octopus and Smoked Duck Rice promise to win over palates. For vegetarians, the Hokaido Pumpkin Steak is a sophisticated choice, as is this Smoked Beetroot Salad (pictured).
The gastronomic experience is accompanied by a new selection of signature cocktails, inspired by the cloister’s apothecary, and desserts that combine tradition and innovation, such as the Burnt Rabana with Custard Cream (pictured).
