Alameda Dom Afonso Henriques will be transformed into an open-air movie theater next Friday, September 26.

Cinema na Praça Continente will screen the movie “The Devil Wears Prada 2,” starring Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway, in a free screening that is part of the Festas na Rua 2026 program.

It’s all free, popcorn included!

The venue is set to open at 8:30 p.m., with the film screening starting at 9:30 p.m. If you arrive early, you’ll secure your seat, even though this outdoor movie screening has 500 chairs available.

And if it gets a little “chilly,” you can bring a blanket or a chair from home to watch the movie more comfortably. No need to bring popcorn— it’s on the house.
