On Sunday, September 20, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Lisbon City Council is hosting the launch event for “Lisboa é Tua!”, an experience that transforms part of the city into a walking discovery trail, starting and ending at Campo das Cebolas.
A treasure hunt through the city
The concept is simple: with the help of a mobile app, teams of up to five people unlock challenges along a route with various georeferenced points, discovering the city’s culture, identity, and heritage along the way. The “game board” for this inaugural edition covers the route between the , Parque Eduardo VII , and Terreiro do Paço, passing through neighborhoods such as Rato, Príncipe Real, Mouraria, and Alfama.
Part of a larger strategy
This launch isn’t a one-off event: it’s part of Lisboa Ativa, the city’s initiative to get more people moving, and is integrated into a broader week of initiatives— from September 20 to 30 —designed to “get Lisbon moving, ” with the full program available at lisboa.pt.
