Metro rides “almost” free
The promotion started on June 3 and ends on June 30 at 11.59pm, . It is valid for customers with a Visa bank card issued in Portugal.
To enjoy this advantage, you must add your Visa card to your cell phone’s digital wallet, whether you use Apple Pay or Google Pay, and pay directly at the Metro de Lisboa validators, as long as your smartphone is compatible with NFC technology (wireless payments).

Limited to a maximum of 50,000 trips
One of the constraints of this campaign is the number of journeys that Metro de Lisboa and Visa will offer, which is limited to a total of 50,000 free journeys.
This way, if the 50,000 trips have already been offered before the end of the month, the campaign will automatically end early.
This is a measure that you can take advantage of today, when you go to the popular Saints’ festivities all over the city, and you can save around €1.79, as the ticket costs €1.80. We’d say it’s almost enough to drink another beer.
