The Lisbon Book Fair, the city’s biggest literary event, already has dates for the next edition. In 2025, the initiative will return to Parque Eduardo VII, slightly later than it has been, between June 4 and 22.
With these dates, the event will be able to take advantage of three public holidays, namely Portugal Day (June 10), St. Anthony’s Day (June 13) and Corpus Christi (June 19).
According to the Lusa news agency, the dates were announced by the Portuguese Publishers and Booksellers Association (APEL), which also said that registration for the next edition of the Lisbon Book Fair will begin in early 2025.
This year, the literary event took place between May 29 and June 16, bringing together more than 900 publishers represented by more than one hundred exhibitors, spread over 350 pavilions.
It should also be noted that, according to information from the Lisbon Book Fair organization, published by SIC Notícias, the event in 2024 attracted more than one million visitors.
