Lisbon is one of the most fashionable tourist destinations, sought after by both Portuguese and foreigners. However, the city still ‘hides’ some ‘secrets’ that can only be visited occasionally, such as the Roman Galleries.
Considered an underground treasure, tickets for this experience usually sell out in the blink of an eye. However, if you’ve never had the chance to visit the Roman Galleries, or would like to do so again, here’s a tip: there are guided tours in April.
The visits take place on April 3 and 4, between 2:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., and on April 5 and 6, and are led by the Museum of Lisbon’s Education Service team,” reads a post on the Museum of Lisbon’s Instagram page.
A journey over 2,000 years old
At the moment, it is not yet possible to buy tickets for this historical-cultural experience over 2,000 years old, nor are advance reservations accepted.
However, the Museum of Lisbon advises those interested to follow its social networks closely to keep abreast of the dates, or to subscribe to its newsletter to receive the news first hand.
