The online travel site TripAdvisor has already released its lists of the best beaches in the world and in Europe, and Portugal has once again made the list .
According to users of the TripAdvisor platform, Portugal has one beach in the world’s Top 5 and four in Europe’s Top 25.

This ranking reflects the preferences of travelers and the evaluations made on the platform over the previous year.

The 25 best beaches in Europe
Elafonissi Beach, in Crete, was named the best beach in Europe and also the best in the world in 2025, thanks to its crystal-clear waters and unique pink sands.
There were also four Portuguese beaches in this top European list, with almost the same representation as last year’s list.
