Popular Saints at Mouraria is already a hallmark of Lisbon’s “Santos”, and this year they’re returning to the neighborhood Mouraria.
This group defines this Lisbon festival as the most diverse and inclusive, due to the very characteristics of this multicultural Lisbon neighborhood, where more than 50 different nationalities come together.
A culturally different party
Since it’s a “different” neighborhood, so will the party. So if you’re looking for more than just folk music or grilled sardines, maybe this is the arraial you should go to.
It’s sure to be a party of many reunions, lots of toasts, grilled sardines and, of course, lots of music, preferably the kind that gets you dancing.
At Largo da Rosa, between May 30 and June 15, you’ll be able to enjoy musicians from Angola, Guinea, Cape Verde, Brazil, Cuba, Italy and, of course, Portugal.
Diverse musical program
Already confirmed for this Popular Saints at Mouraria are Rádio Olisipo, Cadê o Gilberto, Tropicústica, among many others, which you can see on the poster below.
