It seems that Normal stores are here to stay and to compete with the well-known Tiger stores, Action e Pepco, all of which are known for offering very cheap products and utensils for everyday use.
The well-known Danish retail chain has plans to set up more stores in Lisbon by next winter, where it already has some spaces up and running and others on the way.
On October 13, it opened its first store in the city, in Entrecampos (Campo Grande 3); on November 16, it opened its second, in the Saldanha Residence shopping center (Avenida Fontes Pereira de Melo 42E; and on December 15, it opened its third large store in the city, this time in Campo Pequeno (Avenida da República).
The Saldanha store (Avenida Duque de Ávila) is already scheduled to open this summer and the first store will open in the winter downtown Lisbon (Rua de Santa Justa).
It was already known that Normal stores would start appearing more and more in our city, as part of this Nordic company’s strategy, but it is only now that we are seeing a greater “speed” in the opening of new spaces.
It should also be remembered that, on August 17th, a large space opened in the UBBO Shopping Resort, in Amadora, one of the largest in the group, with many new and unique products.
On August 24th, Normal’s eighth store in Portugal was inaugurated at BPlanet, in the Barreiro. And from what we’ve already heard, in Lisbon, will soon be opening in LoureShopping, in Loures.
It should be noted that this brand stands out for its very competitive prices, inviting all customers to enter a very fun experience inside its stores, including the labyrinthlayout and more than 100 new products every week.
We are very excited to be opening more stores and are very happy to be able to offer the Normal shopping experience in even more cities in Portugal,” says Torben Mouritsen, CEO of Normal.
If you still don’t know what kind of stores these are, Normal is a Danish retail chain that opened its first store in Silkeborg in April 2013.
Since then, it has become a chain with more than 550 stores in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, the Netherlands, France, Finland and Portugal.
