From now until December 23rd, Mafra and Ericeira will have their own Christmas Market full of Christmas activities for the whole family. And we already know everything you can’t miss at this great event.
The “Christmas Has Arrived in the Village” event promises to enchant young and old alike, transforming this municipality into a real Christmas tale, with various activities spread across Terreiro D. João V in Mafra and Praça da República (Jogo da Bola) in Ericeira.
Some of the biggest highlights will be the Christmas Market, where you can find local products and handicrafts that will make excellent and unique Christmas presents, and the Carousel set up in Mafra, attractions that will operate at the following times:
- Sunday to Thursday, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Fridays and Saturdays, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Santa’s Corner will delight all children every Saturday and Sunday from 2pm to 4pm in Ericeira and from 4.30pm to 6.30pm in Mafra.
If you like visual spectacles, you can’t miss the light projections on the façade of the National Palace of Mafra, which take place every day between 17:30 and 00:00.
Various animations in both towns, Christmas tales, themed workshops and Christmas concerts, as well as children’s plays make up the rest of the program for this Christmas Market in Mafra and Ericeira.
