Dino Parque is going to have a “Talking Tree”. You read that right! Europe’s largest open-air museum, Dino Parque Lourinhã, is preparing to transform your evenings once again with the return of “Jurassic Nights”, which will take place on selected weekends and specific days between November 28 and December 23, 2025.
This year, the experience of exploring the prehistoric trails under the moonlight, observing more than 200 illuminated dinosaurs, brings significant novelties that promise to surprise even the most regular visitors.
The big premiere of 2025: “The Talking Tree”
The “Talking Tree” is the big attraction of this edition of “Jurassic Nights”, revealing a brand new installation that will only be available this year.
It will be located in the heart of this Jurassic forest and, as an interactive novelty, it will “gain” a voice so that it can speak to all visitors.
According to the “Jurassic Nights” organization, it’s an experience that brings together technology, humour and, of course, a lot of knowledge, designed so that families can “talk” to it, in a unique opportunity since this attraction will only be available during the “Jurassic Nights” in 2025.
A great novelty among the giant dinosaurs
In addition to this new piece with “whom” you can interact, the event maintains its central proposal, which is to rediscover the prehistoric giants in a completely different atmosphere when it gets dark: at night, the trails take on a mysterious atmosphere, with the lights revealing shadows and details that go unnoticed during a normal daytime visit.
For Rui Ferrão, Marketing Manager at Dino Parque Lourinhã,
When night falls, Dino Parque is transformed into a magical place, where each route takes on a new dimension. The lighting reveals details that go unnoticed during the day and creates an immersive, almost cinematic atmosphere.”
More news from the West
As a way of adding even more value to the Oeste region, this year you’ll also find a small fair that will bring together local artisans and producers, allowing you to get to know the region’s gastronomy, traditions and authentic products better.
With this initiative, we are integrating the region’s cultural and natural wealth into the Dino Parque experience, enhancing the territory and promoting local talent. It’s an opportunity for visitors to discover unique products, made with authenticity and inspired by the traditions of the West,” says the park’s marketing manager.
