Figueira Christmas Gourmet is returning to Praça da Figueira, in downtown Lisbon, for its 12th edition, in what promises to be a unique gastronomic experience full of novelties.
The Associação de Dinamização da Baixa Pombalina (ADBP) is once again organizing this event, which will run from November 21 to December 21, bringing with it a programme full of Christmas flavours and showcookings with renowned chefs, and this will be the first edition that will also have the special participation of master chocolatiers.
Truffles, cakes and bonbons
Figueira Christmas Gourmet is already an annual gastronomic success, and this year it will expand its offer with the presence of master chocolatiers Rita Oliveira and Flávio Silva, who will delight visitors with their creations of truffles, cakes and bonbons, giving visitors the opportunity to taste these delicacies live and take the recipes home via the ADBP’s official website.
The program of showcookings begins on November 23 at 5pm with Chef Chakall and other renowned chefs such as Alessandro Olivotto, Joana Byscaia, Pedro Mendes, Ann Kristin Wenzel, Francisco Siopa and Augusto Gemelli, each of whom will bring their own exclusive recipes inspired by the traditions of their cultures, adding a gourmet and sophisticated touch to the Christmas celebrations.
