After 16 years, the Gallagher brothers have made up and are reuniting for several concerts of the iconic band Oasis, for now, only in the UK and Ireland. Are you still in time to buy one of these tickets?
The week of the announcement of this reunion occurred at the same time as the most recent abanão in Lisbon, making the Internet “tremble” about what enigmatic announcement the brothers were going to make.
Noel and Liam Gallagher thus got back together for several Oasis concerts, much to the delight of many fans, who had been longing for the two to finally put an end to their years of feuding.
Tips for buying tickets (on future dates)
For one of the best-known duos in the world of music, this is the right time to get back together, as it also marks the 30th anniversary of “Definitely Maybe”, released in 1994, for many one of the most iconic Oasis albums and even in rock music.
For fans, whatever! As long as they get together, that’s what matters now! If you’re a fan of this band, you’ve probably already looked up where you can buy tickets for one of these concerts, which went on sale on August 31st.
Of course, it was chaos to buy one of these precious tickets to see Oasis on stage again, with Ticketmaster registering thousands of hits as soon as they went on sale.
According to what we’ve been able to ascertain, the tickets started selling for between 88 and 602 euros, a small fortune, even for those who are fans of this iconic band.
From what we also know, and it would be unprecedented if it didn’t happen, tickets are already selling for more than 10,000 euros on the parallel market, and the organizers have already informed us that only tickets purchased on official platforms will be admitted.
Although tickets for these concerts are already sold out, keep an eye out for new dates and make sure you follow these tips:
- Create an account at the online ticket offices where the tickets are on sale, for example at Ticketmaster;
- If you already have an account, check that your details are up to date, especially your username and password;
- Make sure your payment details (by debit or credit card) are also up to date;
- Before purchasing, decide which seats in the stadium you want to attend the concerts in, so that you can find them as quickly as possible;
- Check that your Wi-Fi or data connections are working properly, so that the connection doesn’t drop when it’s your turn;
- Don’t open the site in several windows;
- Avoid refreshing the site while you are on the waiting page;
- And don’t just buy tickets so you can sell them at three times the real price. Please don’t do that!

We remember that the Gallagher brothers “broke up” Oasis in 2009, after an argument in the backstage, before playing at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris, with Noel slamming the door saying that he “couldn’t go on working with Liam for another day.”
Still to remember is the concert they gave in Lisbon, at the then Pavilhão Atlântico (now MEO Arena), also in 2009, incidentally the year in which the band also split up, six months later.
After the concerts in Her Majesty’s lands, we can only hope that the band will break through to other European frontiers and stop by here.
